his senior year, State offered him the next day. He didn't even start playing football until his Jr. year. That is some great recruiting! And some people want to say Saturday's loss was not on the coaches! HA! While I'm a McCain supporter, We need to adopt Obama's theme - CHANGE!!! We've had enough!

with only a few seconds left.

but there is no excuse for what happened saturday. or his consistent inability to deliver a decent kickoff. or his general suckitude.

He actually had a pretty decent year last year. Just add that to the list of other minor miracles that had to happen to get Crxxm's dumb *** 8 wins.

There is no excuse for missing that FG or the XP (which was his fault) - it was a line drive. If MSU doesnt have a kicker that is performing better than him, he is on the field as the best option. WHICH IS SAD. ONE MORE BIG THING... HS PERFORMANCES DONT MEAN ANYTHING, NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL. EVERYONE WAS A STAR IN HS, THIS IS THE SEC AND CARLSON CLEARLY DOESNT BELONG

Do you think the tee could make that much of a difference. I never thought about it. I bet thats why 3 year olds play TEE ball, maybe I could be wrong. People like you float these boards.

that posted in all caps- msu76 or something like that? Maybe this is him?

Oh, and you won't be floating this board for long if you keep trying to bust DS balls.

kicking with a tee for me in high school added about 5-10 yards and it also helps with getting the ball over the line.

it is like night and day as opposed to kicking off the grass. big difference in elevation and distance.

If Gambrell had found a place on the team, it would have been as a punter or on kickoff. Place-kicking was never one of his strong points. Carlson sucks, no doubt about that, but Gambrell would have been no better.

It that from 40+ yards he is a perfect 3 for 3. Anything less than 40 and he's 3 of 8. I guess anytime you get past the 30, might as well just go for it cause carlson is going to miss

to kicking without a tee?

I thought maybe some genius coach was going to try to teach him to kick better and totally screwed him up. But, your thought sure makes a lot more sense. I never have figured out how a guy that was killing the ball in high school could start sucking like that. You might just have the answer there.

hey dawgstudent you are arguing about kicking with brent smith and i am pretty sure he was a lot better than carlson so next time you want to make a point about kicking argue with someone who isnt as good a kicker as you were, unless you were an all sec kicker and i didnt know about it
