Is that fair enough? If you think kids love playing that type offense such as Georgetown runs, then you are out of touch with reality and good athletes can run any offense, but to try and say that is the only way to win is about as stupid as us believing you could coach on a college level much less on a 5A level. Go off and coach Fish so he might compete in that church league and see who really cares.

In the past we had Jamont, Roberts, Austin, etc... Stans has no clue how to coach offensive team basketball. In the past he hada "playmaker" to run the show, which is not a bad thing in CBB. This year MSU had a bunch of role players with no offensive scheme, except to stand around and shoot 3 pointers. This year may have been Stan’s worst coaching performance in recent years and really shows how inept his offensive coaching really is. In the past he has made up for this inability with great team defense, rebounding, and hustling, this team did not show that until the very end of the season.

I don't post much on this site.I mostlycheck it out for information, because there are so many clueless posters here. Please, someone, how the hell can anyonesay that the statementabove is not 100% accurate? He has always had a playmaker to cover uphisinability to coach. Like in the pros where there's less offensive structure because everyone is a playmaker. If Sidneyis not there this year, Stansburymight have his worst season ever.

I thought about referencing Gtown, but figured the response would be that they get elite players in spite of the offense run, due to success and history.

Sorta like UCLA and their terrible slowdown offense, yet they manage to get player after player that is an elite athlete and doesnt fit the system.

Anyways, Gtown is a good point.

I never said to run our offense exactly as Princeton's, I said it would be nice to see a few plays from it implemented into an offense at MSU. We have no half court offense at MSU, we have the Stand and Shoot. Our motion offense is motionless, yet you defend Stans as if he is your flesh and blood. The fact is if we don't score out of our tansition offense we just shoot the first open three, and that is not an offense.
All high school players want to do is dunk and shoot three's, what's new? It's up to a coach to take those athletes and turn them into team ball players, teach them how to play defense, implement an offensive system, and to win championships.

he will have the success that Stans has had JUST because of the fact it's near impossible to recruit basketball players to Colorado. His system probably doesn't help. I will tell you that they always look sharp and well-coached. But, they are talentless asshats.
