Never saw him play before now, but he looks like a minimum 2 year project
The small amount of the first half I've seen him unable to convert two point blank looks at the basket and in general just looks a little lost around the court offensively. Honestly I'm a tad disappointed as he doesn't appear to be as athletic as I had hoped.
What dose anybody else watching think?

Plays decent defense, has been getting good position, pushing his guy out of the post.

If he can play defense and average double digit rebounds but score nothing he could actually play 15 minutes a game and help us win.
Especially if Sword and Thomas keep developing as shooters and we add an actual PG.
True, and I was somewhat joking. But, after seeing what Ray has done with Roquez Johnson and Wendell Lewis (right before he got hurt) this year, I'm not as worried about having huge recruiting classes. At least not yet.
Al-Farouq Aminu has done basically what I'm talking about and he's one of the most important players on the Hornets this year. I'm with you on Ray though. I don't think he's necessarily a "developer of talent" because he's a guard specialist and with a limited roster he has no time to coach really. But he can get every ounce of effort out of a kid. So to hell with it. We need players.

I read in a Marcello article this past week a quote saying he can't coach as much as he likes because of the roster.
This. Plus, Ndoye is doing at Findlay what we will want him to do- play defense and rebound. He doesn't look likely to develop into an offensive juggernaut (and he is no Varnado on defense), but he can be a solid role player. And surely he can develop a little baby hook or something in 4 years...

"Take Ndoye for me this year and I'll get you a starter next year" kind of deal between the two coaches. It helps Findlay get better players when even their scrubs are signing with Power6 conferences. If Ray can get a guy from Findlay every year I'm all for the Ndoye back of the bench plan. Did anyone recognize who the Montverde coach is? That's Kidd-Gilchrist's coach from Jersey. [/FONT]
