Had a former player go on a recruiting visit to Tennessee- had a damn good time he said- until he noticed about lunchtime on Monday at school that he had a case of the crabs. I went and got him some RID at the drug store- sent him home. Last thing we needed was a crabs outbreak in the lockerroom.

I know a recruit from around 12 years ago. We were friends in high school, etc. he went on all 5 visits because coach sherrill told him to. Reason was pocket money he got at all 5 visits. The school that gave him the most was 10k during the visit. They are in the rocky top state.

Supposedly, when our coaches went to Northeast to workout Dontae...
They got there, and the NE coach said "sorry to disappoint, but Dontae can't workout". He was in a walking boot with a stress fracture. Dontae, though, didn't want to disappoint. He came out, jumped off one foot and dunked the ball. Our coaches were floored. Then we got him eligible.

Rumor was Dupree was given an oil well for going to OU. I asked him about in an interview once, he says: "We're from the same town, you know me. If I EVER had an oil well, would I be driving a truck?"
