DS said in a recent chat that this would be a good ten year anniversary thread. My father has unused tickets to the '80 game vs. Bama in Jackson, and an old button with Bob Boyd's face on it (essentially a support our basketball team button). My family doesn't have a ton of stuff, but I'm sure y'all have some interesting things. What do y'all have?

I don't own anything cool, but I've always wanted a helmet with the MSU Apollo logo on it. Never will I find anything like that. Ever.

I have a Fan Of The Game Ball

Through no fault of the ninja, sadly it was awarded following an Auburn TD in a game we lost 34-0. Also, sadly, it remains autographed by Sylvester Croom.

I have a faded 8x10 photo somebody had taken of the scoreboard after the '80 Bama game that I found in a junk store years ago along with some 75 year old engineering textbooks from an alum that had passed. Another favorite is the Chig Biggers print of the original 10 mascots. That hung on my wall when I was a kid. I have a signed basketball from the 96 Final Four Team, the 2004 SEC Champ Team, and, alas, the 2012 Dumpster Fire Team. I have a baseball signed by Jody Hurst that is just cool because he sat next to me in Physics I.

I have a framed news paper headline of the 1980 bama win, that I found at an antique store. I also have an autographed football by Jackie sherrill and John Bond. I usually keep the sports page of newspapers after big MSU wins or memorable games. Like 2004 sec champs or an Omaha trip. But my favorite is my first Cowbell that my dad got me when I was a kid at the 1998 Arkansas game. Still use that bell to this day.

Never have had any interest in getting autographs but....

I do have an unused student ticket from the 1980 bama game (and a mildly regretful story as to why it was unused). I also still have the special issue of the reflector that was published a day or two after the game.

rusty old cowbell

I still have my cowbell that I bought in 1961 when I was a freshman at MSU. Long time ago. Still take it to every game. It is rusty and larger than the ones you buy on Campus. No decals, no new paint job, and the clanger does not come out like some of the newer ones. An Auburn fan offered me $100 for it a couple of years ago at a game, but no way was that going to happen. It lasted longer than my marriage and was far more reliable. My grandson, who is now a freshman at MSU, already has his eye on it for when I am no longer around, but he will have to wait for awhile and pry it out of my cold hands....................

I have a baseball signed by the whole 1985 team.

My dad and I were at a game (I believe it was the Ole Miss game) at Smith-Wills Stadium. This was back when the managers for the teams would come up into the stands and take foul balls that were hit back to the dugout. I was in about the third grade and caught the one and only foul ball that I have ever caught. Rather quickly a manager came up and took the ball from me. No big deal he was doing what he was supposed to do, but it still kinda sucked for a third grader. Only problem was, during the game there were many more foul balls hit and the guy never came back and took another one. An older guy, who I still don't know to this day, noticed this and asked my dad for my name and mailing address and my dad gave it to him. No way you'd do this today, but the world was different then. Anyway, about a week later I was at school and my dad showed up with a box from Mississippi State University. Inside the box was a note from Ron Polk saying that he was sorry that my ball got taken away, and nobody else's did, and he hoped the ball inside would make up for it. I reached inside and pulled out the ball signed by the whole team. I still have that ball almost 30 years later.

I was on the schedule poster for the 1994 baseball season. Random photo from the outfield one game that got chosen. One of my parents friends saw it, called my mom, who called the school and confirmed it was me. They invited me up to the first SEC series, I believe against Florida. I got to go on the field and throw out the first pitch. Afterwards I went in the dugout and got the ball signed by the team. I was 7 so don't really remember any big names from that team, but I still have the ball and plenty of posters.

Also my dad's cowbell from college. And a Croom signed football somewhere.

#1) A piece of the goal post from the 1999 Egg Bowl
#2) A MSU Cap signed by Jackie Sherrill
#3) A ticket stub from the 2000 UF Game signed by Jackie Sherrill
#4) A foul ball from Dudy Noble in May of 2002. I remember saying for many a seasons that I wouldn't graduate until I'd caught one. And it was looking pretty grim with a mid-May 2002 graduation. And then I finally got one at a mid-week game in the 1st base grandstands, and shouted in jubilation that I could officially graduate now.

I got engaged at my now mother-in-laws house. Should've thought that one through a little better.

I actually have a piece of the net from the 2009 SECT win. I was in the band at the time and we ended up celebrating on the court after the game. Brian Johnson had the net and was cutting off pieces to anyone who asked. Pretty special piece.

ETA: both nets were cut down.

I was the guy that fell off the outfield wall in the 07 super regional, I managed to hobble my drunk *** onto the field and snag the rosin bag. I also have 2 pieces of goal post from the 04 Florida win, one with a ticket stub. From the 09 SEC Tournament I have a banner from inside the arena. It's big enough to cover an entire wall.

Same here. The best I have is from former Dawg John Michael Marlin when he worm burned a football into the crowd on a kick off at a Desoto Xplorers game. I caught the football after my friend slowed the momentum.

I got this from the clearance bin at Spencer's in 1992. Thought it was funny. It is still in the original package so I haven't ever listened to it. Anybody know what's on the tape? I'm guessing Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.
