Favorite MSU player of all time, and........

but Jeff Walker was definitely my favorite punter of all time. I used to love it when he would run down the field and crush some returner that happened to make it through the first tacklers.

All of the players already mentioned were great. I've never in my life cried at a football game. Not even when I had a tooth knocked out after the '99 Arkansas game.

This is a strange one but I always liked Kevin Sluder. Dude played his heart out and if I remember correctly was a big reason we won a couple of Egg Bowls in the late 90's. I also liked TJ Mawhinney, he would just go in helmet-first and crush people.

And, of course, Ashley Cooper and Fred Smoot. Opposing recivers hated playing us with those two back there. Whenever Cooper blitzed I couldn't sit down, just knew the QBs helmet was about to get knocked off.

Our offense has never been prolific enough for anyone to be my favorite player, but J-Rock is for sure up there.
