I wouldn't be doing justice if I only quoted one post out of their 'Giles to Duke' thread. There's just too many stupid one's to pick out one particular post. So I'll post a link to the thread. It's comedy gold and must-read material.

To call them jealous of Duke right now doesn't even do it.

Beat me to it. Just came here to post that thread. My abs are aching from laughing so hard. gary and heelicious are beyond salty. loll. And LOL at gary (using his typical shtick) and saying that Duke was given the NC game by the refs in the 2nd half because K intimidated them at halftime. And that it is disgusting because Wisky was the better team. That guy is so far gone that nothing he says amazes me anymore. Can just imagine him sitting at his keyboard typing furiously with steam rolling off the top of his head. I picture him actually looking like Moe (his avatar pic which most of you know), from the Three Stooges, too. You can cut their absolute crazed frustration with a knife. It is that heavy.

I love everything about that thread. "The Dark Blue Wall" "Dark Prince" "Notorious on the Circuit" I am loving these new descriptions that they are using to describe Duke's success. They take conspiracy theories to another level. Going over there was the first time I have been to a circus in 10 years, I am going to have to rethink my stance on the circus.

I will give it to a couple of poster in there, Namely "acokeforroy" and "cory." Posts worth reading unlike gary-7 Who continues to throw out accusations without any form of representation.

I would love for gary to come over here and try an explain his theories. Maybe try and help us understand all this damning evidence he has that he never puts forth.

I love the moderator's signature. It's so fitting to their program right now.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…............ It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

But what happens when the rain turns into a hurricane?

In fairness I bet this could do with his personal situation.....

Those are from his tight-knit of coaching cronies. They sound like windbags....just like Gary. He's at least amusing, though.

I love how Gary 'knows' K is dirty...but obviously believe Roy is as pure as the driven snow.....hahaha.....so funny!

OFC

That's actually the best part. What else is funny is how he has his coaches posse and they all despise K....which is the opposite of what you hear from all other walks of basketball. In fact, it's Roy who doesn't have the respect of a lot of the coaches.

DJ, I swear I don't know if he really believes all that crap, or if he's that mentally challenged. But either way, he's a gift to us!

Isn't it amazing that Gary knows Coach K is "dirty" but yet his beloved UNC has been accused by the NCAA of being "dirty".

Its actually quiet nice that Gary is so jealous of Duke, it just means that the more we beat UNC in everything related to basketball the more jealous Gary and his brain dead peers become. Poor old Gary, Chapelheeled, Dsouthr, Keysersosay, and TPMFKAPFS they must be about to pop a blood vessel.

I do wish that Mike Irby would give me a free pass on THR for a few minutes so I could tell all of them how ridiculous they sound.

To be honest, I've been to THR three times and have no idea what his personal situation is. And I don't mean to make light of it, no matter what it is. But (there's always a but) it happens to also be right in line with their program at the moment.
I think he has cancer, bud.

I considered linking that thread after I saw it because it could keep us busy for weeks just from quoting posts in that thread. It's going to give us plenty to laugh at that's for sure.

I like the comments on K must have some secret on how he's landing all these top recruits. Hey, THR kids, he does, it's called integrity, honesty, class, hard work, devotion, intelligence, credibility, and tradition. Better get yourselves a win against Duke this year, next year is gonna be 3 bad *** whippings in a row.

Wonder how many UNC fans would want him to skip college of he committed to them

Yes he does just as one of our regulars has. It's been said many times on this thread that we all wish both Mike Irby and gottagonow the best. The rivalry takes a very deep back seat when it comes to one's health and family members also. I will not post at THR but it is my hope that Mike Irby beats this thing and recovers fully as well as our own gottagonow.. Both are on my mind and in my prayers. GO DUKE. OFC

Thanks for the nice thoughts Sky. Mike Irby is much sicker, and his disease more advanced than mine but we will both take all of the prayers we can get. I still say Mike is an OK guy, he just chose the wrong color blue.
sorry, I didn't know you were fighting this disease. Prayers sent.

And you are right, Mikes a good Dude. I'm 21 years cancer free after major surgery for melanoma. So I always have more of a bond with others that have had or do have this disease. It sucks and most people don't realize how much of a mental toll it takes on you. Atleast it did for me.

My first child was just a year old when I was diagnosed. All I could worry about was my son. Years later he just gave me my first grandchild.

I'll keep you in my prayers. I hope nothing but the best for you.

If I could only dig up that old steat thread where he and about 10 other THR knuckleheads were just belly laughing that we would even think we had a CHANCE at interesting Giles. God that would be a solid gold find. I know some of you read it.

Bless you J.C. for your fight and victory . I don't think there is a person I know that has not had a family member or good friend battle with cancer of some type. Some have won the battle and some not. I'm in a position where I can witness every couple of months people in the battle receiving chemo . At one time they were cancer free then suddenly they are in this battle. We've come a long way in this war on cancer and although I can't say we are winning the war on cancer we are making great progress because so many people are being cured. Somewhere in this world is the answer I feel and it may be right under our noses. We must keep searching. Who's to say that someday with the simple act of a vaccination cancer will be wiped away. DJ you're spot on here- i cant tell you how many big time UNC donors and folks inside the UNC athletic department that i've spoken with that disdain Roy as a person and an ambassador for UNC. They all to a man have glowing things to say about K and the person that he is- genuine. I had a convo last week with one of them and they told me some great stories about Dean Smith and how much they revered him and the man he was. It is the exact OPPOSITE when it is in reference to Roy. It is really alarming to be perfectly honest with you when they say they can't wait for him to leave and that he only cares about "how can you help me". These are their words not mine.

Those idiots over at THR are just that. There is zero connection between those guys and the program, because the people that would piss them off more than Duke fans would be their own insiders who would tell them how it really is.

I know several UNC fans that loathe Roy but tolerate him for what might be just dreams. Everyone knows the fans over at THR are very insecure and an easily offended bunch. You know what made them that way? Duke and the dirty, cheating Coach K of course. The've proven that when they're on top in winning and recruiting and without scandal a vivid imagination isn't necessary with their idiotic opinions and negative comments or hatred of Duke Basketball and everything associated with it. With the easy academics for athletes and paper classes for 18 years they could have a elite program like Duke but now, after this year, the future doesn't seem so bright for them. They are justifiably worried about the unknown and can only compete after this year with imagination and memories of the good old days.

Think back to the revelations that some have dared to bring forth. Intrepid newspapers have laid out in detail transgressions, including extra benefits for players, securing phony jobs for parents and sketchy correspondence courses. Has anything ever happened? Nope.

I mean, this cant be serious? Can it? The irony is mind boggling.

Extra benefits? (see PJ Hairston driving Fats rental cars, and Leslie McDonald pimping mouth guards).
Securing phony jobs? lol, Tyler Hansbroughs mom was given a job as a fundraiser for UNC which apparently consisted of nothing more than having relations with the vice chancelor.
Sketchy Courses? bwahahahaha....20+ years of academic fraud.

Again, as Carolina supporters we see it year after year: K and dook play by a different set of rules. We see it ON the court with his inexplicable ability to get away with intimidating and bullying refs, and OFF the court as mentioned above. Watching Wisky --- a better team --- getting a Natty stolen from them by outlandishly bad 2nd half officiating --- brought about by K's half-time ref-manipulating --- was the personification of what we deal with constantly.

Now, all that being said... Capel has a known history of being dirty... and also being a bit careless with it. Will he overstep and get em busted? I dunno. That Dark Blue Wall shielding the Dark Prince is pretty formidable. I wouldn't bet on it.

Duke beats UNC 10 of last 13 games....only because K intimidates the refs.
Duke wins the national championship...only because K intimidates the refs.
Duke kicks UNCs @ss on the recruiting trail.....Capel is paying players.
