They would ban this little guy if his name was Duke.

I am shocked and saddened. Posted my first comment on THR, and was instantly banned w/o due process or a hearing. My totally objective comment was "Not surprising the Heels lost to a better coached Villanova team, but what is surprising is that Roy did not cause them to lose by misusing timeouts at the end of a closely contested game." Factually accurate, I think.

Facts have no place over there.

It makes me laugh in the way the argument that the scandal is academic and athletic does. They choose not to understand that the 2 are inherently linked.

The ability of these kids to compete in intercollegiate athletics at the highest level is based upon their ability to qualify academically. Therefore, if players are being steered into BS classes, it impacts their academics which impacts the athletics.

If we're saying that it's only an academic issue, then we're separating student from athlete and ultimately have schools that have professional sports programs. I'd be banned if I explained it to them.

Look at this **** from that clown Heelicious....WOW:

"Here's what I added in the Bolden thread about the class of the LOM and the prestigious DOOK program

Thornton confirmed his transfer today. That is a fact.... here is speculation.

Jeter, Obi, et al not far behind him....

The revolving door continues and The Rat has the engine on the revolving door revved up.

So nice of the Leader of Men (barf) to look out for Thornton. Nice. Rat prolly straight up told Thornton he'd get to practice all year, and maybe get a couple minutes here and there if they were up by 30 on someone, but otherwise its pine city, baby!

It just warms the heart how much the Rat looks out for his players and works to develop them. Sick. I wonder if whacking Thornton was a condition for Bolden to come to the cesspool. What a way to run a program. All about the development of the student athlete. Funny thing is.... if you accumulated the kids that transferred out of Dook, and put them together as a team of seniors, that OTHER programs have developed (Gbinije, Salumon, etc) - they'd give Dook a run for their money.

Just think if we had this FUBAR of a program at UNC - we'd have never had guys like Britt, Brice, Joel James, .... and in the past guys like Deon Thompson, Jawad Williams, etc on the team product for us.... if we were like Rat and looked out only for the new OAD guy we recruited over the 4 -year developing guy, and just throw away the guy who isn't a star as a freshman.

Why don't we hear more in the media about what a transfer factory Dook is? Or am I missing it, and the transfer factory is good for the game, what the NCAA and the universities should want, for "developing these student athletes".

The Dookie recruits must be getting paid well by Bag Man Capel..... how else can you explain them just ignoring Rat and Capel just royally screwing up the first couple years of these college kids lives, throwing them under the bus, having them sit out (lose) a year, etc.

Would be awesome to hear people like Thornton and other transfers spill the inside stuff on how slimy the whole process is for them, if they aren't instant automatic stars, regardless of what they were promised when they were recruited.

Talk about kids getting used and thrown away. Rat treats the kids like prostitutes, bought for a year, but I'd guess most prostitutes get treated with more respect and dignity, than Rat shows to his high-recruits on the middle of his bench (ie - the guys beyond the "only 5-6" players he had this year."

You guys will easily win the NC next year too, based on all the projections. Anything short will be a horrible season.

Being a freshman isn't a bad thing. Heck, you may be an aspiring doctor that I need. My shoulder surgeon was a duke undergrad and I appreciate him more then you might know. Problem is... everyone has rode colored glasses on and misses their own faults, schools too. Good luck next year, you guys really should win it all. Wish we did this year.

And you dumbasses at THR discussing how good Sulaimon did after he transferred, he didn't transfer from Duke dipshit, K kicked him off the team.

Go get em Show. No body delivers a roundhouse like you do. I'm not sure which one of us DI guys they despise most over there but you got to be near the top and that's a compliment. would be cool if one of their top notch guru's over there started a poll with about 20 or so of us to choose from. I feel if they did the nominees would be over here campaigning for the vote LOL.Glad we have you and others here who really don't care how much you hurt their little thr feelings over there. Glad you are a Dukie and I feel wonderful that I get to communicate with you everyday. OFC

Senior night vs a national title game. Brilliant!!

for the life of me, i just dont understand rationale that comes from those guys and the people who i am around.....we basically had the same seasons in 2015 and 2016 both lost in the s16 and we sealed the deal against a far greater opponent and they lost....they had a great season and had some guys that were suprisingly still hanging around that had 3 tough seasons beforehand and played really well as do most upperclassmen laden teams

Clown DSouthr:

"This is what you get when you totally commit to the one & done program, your upper classmen are walked over by a kid barely out of puberty. You have to be able to come in and produce big time right away or you are kicked to the curb, forget developing the players you have, you don't need to develop them when you can just out talent the opponents with freshmen super stars.

That is what they are doing at duke now, you come in play 1 season and ya better be great in that one season else you will be either forced to the deep bench or strong armed in to transferring if they need your scholly. You may be lucky enough at some point in your 4yrs at duke to see a recruiting whiff, like Plum finally got a chance to play when Jeter was a buster. But don't bank on that because K has his sites on every single member of each years top 10 class and unless you entered the NBA after that frosh season or not one of Ks loved "hustle" guys your PT wil go to the next big time talented freshman and if you expected to be developed and given a real chance to play, you better get out of there and go some place that actually cares about helping you develop as a young man and a player.

It is all about K and his need to craft himself as the greatest coach of all time and there is NOTHING he will not do to make that happen. It isn't about those players, his coaches, it isn't about the school or the fans, it is all about K crafting his own legacy and no room for the truth or anything else that threatens that..."

Moron DSouthr again:

"Jeter didn't commit to duke to sit on their bench, he should get out now and spend that red shirt learning to play with a new set of team mates in that red shirt season. They are about to get Bolden, have Giles, Tatum, The Great Jefferson, and Delourer already, kid has no PT! You either want to play college basketball or just be on a college team just like the walk ons are and have great seats to watch games from? Which one is it, if it is you want to play then you have to know K has moved on from you as a player. Now you are no more than a guy whip&trip can practice tripping on, a guy to rebound for the real players, a sparing partner with out his own shot at the heavy weight title."

"Whip and trip", aren't they just soooo clever over there?? Lol.

And the moron DSouthr one more time:

"Especially when you consider how great a player jefferson is, I mean his injury was the ONLY repeat ONLY reason duke did not win it all this season, dukies told us that all season did they not. If Jefferson does not start how can he win ACC POY, NCAA 1st team and favorite for NCAA POY, and be a sure fire lotto guy if not the clear #1 in the draft?"

he always does this huge exaggeration thing about Amile. But yeah, dummy, losing him did hurt the team pretty bad.
