Probably Super Mario World or Shadow of the Colossus. I miss the days where AAA game developers made quality titles and didn't just **** out clones annually.
Recently, The Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 3 have been phenomenal. Highly recommend both to any PC master race folk.

Tecmo super bowl by far GOAT. No Jackson and the 49ers were unstoppable. On a side note contra was good as well. What was the code? Up up down left right left select start to tap into immortality lol?
Mike Tyson Punch Out. Wasted at least a year of my life trying to beat Tyson. After I knew the combinations it became too easy to do.
They had one guy on the end of the bench for UK that would hit a 3 anywhere inside half court. I forget his name. He was literally 80% from anywhere inside half court.

The Fallout and Elder Scrolls (especially Skyrim) is AWESOME.
Lost a relationship to WoW and almost a job. Eventually quit the addiction cold turkey due to finances. Been well over a decade sober now.

I don't really have a favorite game but favorite genre. I love me some first person shooters. Ever since the first Call of Duty game on the PC hooked me. Going back further I liked games like Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Castlevania. I was also a big fan of the Resident Evil and Tomb Raider games. I especially liked the first Resident Evil. You play that game at night and with the lights off. I still remember when you walked around the corner in the house and saw the first zombie munching on someone and then slowly turning his head to look at you. That game was creepy as hell for a video game.
No game gave me as much joy when it was released as the original arcade NBA Jam. NBA Live 95 is up there, too. As is Batman: Arkham Asylum.
To the OP I could never get into Kingdom Hearts I gave mine to my nephew.
