Let's hope we get Alford or Mays. They can both play other positions if they aren't needed at qb.

I'm sure seeing Dak at 6'3, 235 and can run didnt make him feel better about playing time next season

bring much of contrast in play. He doesn't pass as well as Tyler, and he doesn't run as well as Dak. There really wasn't a spot for him- other than holder.

I'm sure I will now be bombarded by 30 posts from people accusing me of never having seen him play in high school, and comparisons of Favre to Drew Brees and Todd Reesing.

by coming to MSU. With his size and style of play he was never going to fit into Dan's system. He is the perfect guy to go to a smaller school and light things up though. I think he is very talented and will probably do well at a place like USM or Memphis. He loves that "run for you life because there is no offensive line" style of play. Unfortunately that is way too dangerous in the SEC because of the speed.

I wish him all the best and I really believe he can be a great college player in the right system.

He took a chance to play at a SEC school over a couple of C-USA schools. It didn't work out, and now he will go JUCO for a year and he will probably end up at a C-USA school. Not a bad gamble on his part even though it didn't work out.

..in front of him. It seems like he could possibly be really good at a school like Mississippi College or others at that level. They aren't generally as tall or as fast.

when he played in high school he had almost no competition and a brilliant head coach that passed it every down. Omar Conner could of broke records at St. Stanislaus. Dylan is a good player just not a SEC quarterback, and i know Drew Brees is short too but he didnt have to leave his school to get playing time. Drew Brees is Drew Brees

I forgot now,who was it that goaded DM to offering that midget a valuable ( I suppose) scholarship? Fedora? Nobody at USM wanted him then or now. He had made it clear to anyone that would listen he was to good of a playa for hardy high.
