He verbally committed 6 months before his senior year even begins. Solid chance that commitment doesn't hold.

Kentucky fans will go crazy if Stein can get to the playoffs occasionally, and maybe win a title.

Kentucky football will have more NIL money than basketball, and should. Believe it or not, CFB is way more popular than CBB. It’s also produces a lot more revenue.

If Stein can do what Cignetti has done, Kentucky football will become a lot more popular than Basketball. He’s turned IU into a football school. Unthinkable just a few years ago. Same could happen here. Kentucky has a lot of football fans, but can you imagine how many more will come out the woodwork if Stein can come close to Cignetti’s success?

Indiana is still a basketball school. Florida is still a football school. These things are generational.

I personally would prefer football success over basketball. But that's just me. I love football.

Good points and yes, I can imagine that scenario. Unfortunately, I can also imagine many who would resist it because of the historical “uk is a basketball school” mindset. But to my original point, it doesn’t help when you have media influences continuing to say that football is good but basketball is better.
