Should be wooly about the offense, with Jackson coming back. Russell's going to put up some serious numbers. Malcolm Johnson will break records as well. Weak spot is the receivers, where we have the numbers, but will we get the production? Hopefully Chappelle and/or Carr is a boost. Corey Smith looks to be gone to Ohio State.

Offensive, on the fence

The defense was the side of the ball that **** the bed this year. Offense did its job, outside of MAYBE two games (17 statistics).

Example is Troy, would you have been happy with our final score had they not scored two or 3 of those touchdowns? Offense had to keep us in games this year and the product showed.

This should have never been the case with the talent we had on the defensive side of the football. I took the post to mean that there's new blood on D and it should show next year on the field.

However, the usual suspects for the O remain. We return the O-line pretty much intact. But if we can't run the ball, Russell has less of a prayer than this year of keeping us in games. Nevertheless, we can only hope that maybe, just maybe, this year the O will install some timing patterns like slants and outs.

Definitely hope we don't lose Smith...

he's the only real impact receiver we have coming in to offset all the WR losses unless Carr can get back into form. As of yesterday I was thinking PJ said he still didn't think Smith had an OSU offer. I do realize he's scheduled to take an OSU visit this weekend though.
