If Coach Croom had to fill out his resume to apply for the HC job at MSU for 2009 and could only use the previous 5 years of work experience, what would he put down?

You cant just put "a good man with good character" on a resume and be hired ...can you?

I wish he would at least speak to the problems in more detail. Give us some goals for the week and then report back on what went right and what went wrong. I dont want just stats from him...I want solutions and plans. Break it down and give us more detail. The man makes $ 1.7 million dollars per year. His responses are more similar to what you might hear from a high school coach. Can he not explain to the fan base what is going wrong and how he is changing it?? If he wants to be the man who carried the banner for black coaches in the SEC, then he needs to start doing something quick. This isnt just calling football plays and working with the running backs. We may suck but at least have the balls to tell us why we suck and what you are doing to get better. Get mad man...show us you are not there for just the title and the money.

Back to my original question....can anyone actually fill out his resume with accomplishments that Croom would officially submit?

...and btw...I did drive 6 1/2 hrs to watch the TN game and TN is not a very good team right now. And the crowd did not come to life until the first pick for six so the atmosphere was in our favor early on.

Hello,

My name is Sylvester Croom. I played at the University of Alabama and coached under the legendary Bear Bryant. I have great experience in acting like I know a lot about an offense that I can't run efficiently. It will take me 4-5 years to learn how to recruit. I like quarterbacks under 5-10 whose parents have a lot of money. I also like it when the QB's takle well after they throw a pick. I will also go two years without recruiting said profile of quarterback. That would be a nice advantage in my offense. I will refuse to make changes even when things aren't going well. I will also refuse to fire any assistant coaches on my staff. I don't care what the fans think and I might even quit if pressure got too bad (for sale signs in my yard). I will lose games to Maine, La Tech, Houston and Vanderbilt annually. Other SEC fanbases will love me and they won't even care if we ring cowbells at Scott Field anymore. You will never hear about my players in the newspapers. You will never be embarassed of the product put on the field.

I would love the opportunity to coach at Mississippi State University.
