What time do they start June 8th this Wednesday ? Who’s DT wrestling ? Thank you

Round 1 starts at 2 pm EDT. Round 2 starts at 6 pm EDT. Round 3 will follow Round 2

DT is wrestling Zahid Valencia.

There are 15 weight classes (between GR, WFS, and MFS) being contested. Nolf vs. Dake is the 12th bout, Burroughs vs. Marsteller is the 14th bout, and DT vs. Z. Valencia is the 15th bout. So DT will be wrestling late in R1, and late in R2. Only time will tell if he has to wrestle in R3.

Also at the Final X event in New York, on June 8, USA Wrestling will be holding several True Third National Team Wrestle-offs to determine the No. 3 athlete on USA Wrestling's National Team. At 79 kg, Carter Starocci wrestling under the NLWC banner will face former Penn State and NLWC Wrestler Vincenzo Joseph (now coaching at Stanford and competing for California RTC/TMWC). The true 3rd matches will start 12:30 p.m. ET.

Who won the 79 kg spot at the U23 WTTs?

it's more nuanced than who won the spot at WTT. I'm going to pull a few excerpts from an article on the USA Wrestling web site, which can be viewed at:

to more fully explain the situation.

Five U23 Freestyle spots were claimed after best-of-three series finals in Geneva, Ohio. The other five champions wait for the age-eligible athlete from the Senior Men’s Freestyle National Team (Final X winner, Final X runner-up or 3rd overall senior athlete via the 2022 Senior Men’s Freestyle World Team Trials) in their respective weight classes to accept or yield the spot. The final lineup for the World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain (Oct. 17-23) will be determined on Monday, June 27th.

Current 2022 U23 World Team members:
61 kg – Aaron Nagao
70 kg – Yahya Thomas
86 kg – Trent Hidlay
97 kg –Tanner Sloan
125 – Anthony Cassioppi

79 kg
Oklahoma State All-American, Dustin Plott, won in two straight matches over Michael O’Malley of Drexel. Plott won match one by decision, 6-2, and match two with an 8-0 sweep. If Carter Starocci is successful in his true third match this Wednesday at Final X New York, Plott will not have priority for the World Team spot.

1 - Dustin Plott (Cowboy RTC)
2 - Michael O'Malley (Pennsylvania RTC)
3 - Brennan Swafford (Hawkeye WC)
4 - Max Maylor (Cliff Keen WC)
5 - Danny Braunagel (Illinois RTC/Illini WC)
6 - Philip Conigliaro (New England RTC)
7 - Edmond Ruth (Pennsylvania)
8 - Justin Phillips (Cavalier WC)

So basically, by winning 3rd by forfeit at Final X New York, Starocci is eligible to take the 79 KG spot for the USA at the U23 Worlds. It's his choice whether to take that, or to just be a part of the USA team at Senior Worlds.

65 KG

Wow, just a great match. Evan Henderson looked as though he might pull out a 9-9 match on criteria. But Yianni gets a leg very late in the match, lifts it, and drops Henderson OOB for a step out and a 10-9 lead with 2 sec left. Henderson's corner challenged, but lost, so the final in R1 of the Best 2 of 3 was 11-9, Yianni.

Sounds like a sketchy / favorable ref win for Dake. Real pts scored by Nolf

Sketchy might be a stretch, in that Dake won via the FS rules. It does, however, point to one of my counter arguments to those that advocate for step out points in folk.
