He's actually admitting he made a mistake. That's a plus for him.
Technically, he said "we all" made a mistake, not him specifically. Well, "we all" didn't make that mistake. Steve Spurrier and some others didn't. I didn't.
Doesn't matter, he has practically ZERO game experience coming into this season. Big difference in being the starting QB and the practice squad QB.
I have no doubt he's better than he's shown the first 3 games and will have it figured out by the time they play us. But I do think he's pretty overrated.
Finebaum wants so badly for one of the elder Mannings to snap back at him. He has made a very good living on “nuh uhh!! Yea huh!! Nuh Uhh!!! Yea huh!!!” and he clamors for more.
I’ve heard from a guy on the medical staff of a high profile team (been doing this job 20 years), that these last couple of years a lot of the big nil guys WANT to be injured so they have an excuse not to play. I know, hard to believe if you give teenagers a lot of money some will lose motivation…
I admit I haven't watched much of any Texas game. However when I have switched it on I saw Manning miss receivers by yards on some passes. I would say at this point he has accuracy issues. I know he missed 10 in a row this last game. That is something hard to improve on.
He's technically a Sophomore I believe. Played in 2 games in 23, started several last year as a RS FR. Now he's a SO, but still 3rd year
