in all fairness, can you really have too many threads on this topic????
Saying that firing Riley now will hurt recruiting is a joke. Going 3-9 and keeping this staff will hurt far worse than bringing in a competent coach.
Seriously, outside of a team boycotting practice (Danny nee), MR could not have done a worse job this year.

Maybe if you start just one more post on it, they will get their walking papers.
Pretty much every recruiting analyst has said that recruits in general are far less jumpy over a first year record than fans are. That's not to say that certain recruits won't jump ship, but that in general the fear of finishing bottom 20 is overblown when the base message for any new staff is basically we Kinda suck but we need some key players to flip this thing around.
In short, young men believe in their own invincibility far more than they do crazed fans who are with them one
