Fire Eichorst and Riley now. They should not have a job at Nebraska next week.

Why start another thread on the same subject you already started. It does not make your point any more valid or important.

in all fairness, can you really have too many threads on this topic????

Saying that firing Riley now will hurt recruiting is a joke. Going 3-9 and keeping this staff will hurt far worse than bringing in a competent coach.

Seriously, outside of a team boycotting practice (Danny nee), MR could not have done a worse job this year.

I just liked the title of the thread.

Eichorst had 'a year' to find the next Head Coach of Nebraska after the Bo Pelini 'fire me' rant and Husker fans now have to eat the Mike Riley sandwich.
Eichorst must go now!

Might ? We have no choice. Eichorst must fired first. He gets paid over 1$ million per year to destroy our program.

At the least get rid of SE. This isn't Miami and he should not be employed by UNL...

Pretty much every recruiting analyst has said that recruits in general are far less jumpy over a first year record than fans are. That's not to say that certain recruits won't jump ship, but that in general the fear of finishing bottom 20 is overblown when the base message for any new staff is basically we Kinda suck but we need some key players to flip this thing around.

In short, young men believe in their own invincibility far more than they do crazed fans who are with them one
