There is not a dumber head coach in the SEC and that includes the interims.
But , but, but, it's only his 2nd year and he's still learning on the job. We're only paying him a measley $4 million a year to call 6 straight QB runs inside the 10yd line. We'd have to pay much more to get a RB up the middle call or heaven forbid we couldn't afford a pass play call I'm sure. Give the young man a break! *************

He’s a career coordinator and he’s proven it. Nothing wrong with that, but hopefully our administration realizes it by this time next year and moves on.

Smoke and mirrors. You know he’s not smart after chatting with him for about 5 minutes. That speaks a lot about the people in charge of hiring him.
I'm not sure he is a coordinator at this point. QB RPO and deep pass are his playsheet.
Smart move if you really want to compete, bring in a coach like the JMU coach and invest 15 million in the portal again md let him bring his own players. Lebby a year from now will give you the same product

I get the feeling they begged, borrowed and scraped to throw every nil penny into football this year, you may be right. I don’t think this is sustainable. Lebby didn’t improve anything, the boosters just spent a lot more money
I have been firmly in the "we are improved" and "we have to be patient" camp, but this game...that play-calling sequence...the lack of effort. I can't defend it. I just can't.
If he is back next year we will be even more of a laughingstock than now. What quality transfer would want to come to this?
Jimbo would be a huge upgrade over Lebby. Except for his last 2 years at A&M where he was struggling with his mental health, he's been outstanding throughout his career.

If we had a plan to hire somebody better, I’d be all for it. This guy was about the best we could do when our plastic faced university president decided to destroy our football program in one single season.

I think the jmu coach with him bringing his own players and following the cignetti plan is a pretty good upgrade
Ticket sales were really bad going into this season. With what we have coming back (or lack thereof) what will ticket sales be like next season?

just wasting a year, and conceding it. same game plan Selmon took on Lemonis. He doesn't have the balls to make a tough call when he needs to. He fired Lemonis when he literally had no other choice, and some big baseball boosters made him
I wish our big football boosters would do the same. Surely they aren't liking what they're seeing.
Yep and our only chance for Lebby to be let go is for our football boosters to force him to do it.
We'd be better off paying a random SPS poster $500k for a year and banking whatever we'd spend on the coach salary on NIL for the following year.
I have no doubt I could do a better job. I could put a better staff together and delegate. Lol
The team is poorly coached. One player false starts two plays in a row. The bad snap on the FG may not have directly been a coaching error, but special teams have made terrible plays all season. And that's just two examples from a season full of boneheaded plays.

We have regressed as a team. That is all on the coaching staff.
Who are some of these boosters and how rich are they? I can name several LSU boosters but our "cigar boys" are apparently in some witness protection program.
