How many days until we start getting reports on how good the receivers look, only to find out in September it was because the DBs are really bad?……….just joking of course
I laugh to keep from crying.

I was hoping this would be Dink's year but if I'm interpreting coach speak correctly he's not going to be much of a contributor.
Just like every other year.

Dude can squat a volkswagen but he can't stay healthy.

This stupid shlt is already happening. On the other board I'm hearing about how improved the defense is expected to be, how great the OL looks, how great offseason conditioning has gone, etc.

It's like nobody ever learns anything.

We had to get rid of half the OL we brought in in January and bring in a new batch in June. What could possibly go wrong with starting players on the OL who just met their teammates and haven't even had a practice with them until August? The OL working as a group thing is way overrated. **

I have no faith in the coaching staff. If they **** the bed against USM you will see hate never to witness before on this board. It will be epic level of hateness.

If I know Mississippi State football, and I think I do, that just means Dunk is going to have a banner year.

I’ll save you the anticipation of what Lebby had to say

I thought we practiced with great intensity and positivity..I thought we really had a strain to our purpose. As I told the team stay grounded where your planted and compete to meet your goals. Trust the process

Yea I thought Coleman really brought the defense along I thought their intentions and intensity and enthusiasm were all better and they practiced with a purpose. They were trusting the process.

Not only that but we’ve been told until now that no one worth buying really is in the spring portal. We’ll be counting on some of those guys on the Oline.

Spring portal is mostly guys who realize they're not gonna play where they are now & transfer out, or outright got cut.

Generally agree though I like Steen’s resume more than most spring transfers. Started his last 17 games at Virginia. That one I feel better about than the others.

Yeah. UVA was pretty bad, but this is at least a guy who's started for most of 2 years in a P-4 conference. He's maybe a guy who could start for a couple of other teams in the SEC and not just us.

Most of the OL will be a player who was on the team last season if everyone is healthy. We know Steen is going to come in a play a lot and maybe Keenum. But we've got a lot of players from last years team still here.

What is this “other board” you speak of??

An unreasonably optimistic MSU board is a rainbows and pink unicorn spewing mythical creature that should only exist in Steve Robertson’s imagination.
