Get real. If we had gone to Neff with a 2-run lead and he blew it, this board would have had a collective aneurysm. Our bullpen isn’t reliable. None of them are. It’s been that way all year. Folks have been bitching about Riley not going in last night and wanting him in as early as the 7th tonight when Gordon had some adversity, now its “we should have pulled him after one run in the 9th!”. It’s not a damn assembly line. Chances are pretty good that everyone you have back there is a worse option in theory than the guy you already have up there in the 9th. Especially one who already threw 3-4 innings yesterday.
