Overweight fans mingling in multiple maron shaded regalia. Maron, red, crimson accoutrements everywhere.

Actually, this looks pretty damn impressive. Me like.

Interesting. I think that would create traffic problems on normal campus days if that road is gone. It won't matter for game day, however. But that looks awesome. Exactly like what the master plan says.

I would like to see it broken down by phases.

Anyone know?

This is coming from someone I consider to be "in the know", and I'm grabbing my ankles as I type this. This guy did say something about ground level boxes on the North Endzone and I thought that wasweirdso I withheld this info thinking he was wrong. Afterseeingthese rendering, I'm thinking he's pretty in-tune with the plans.<div>
</div><div>Anyway...<div>
</div><div>Phase 1 - football only facility - brick and mortar to start in 2012</div><div>Phase 2 - North lower level expansion - 2013</div><div>Phase 3 - further expansion to the North Endzone - TBD</div><div>
</div><div>These are construction dates, not completion dates.</div> </div>

the main thing for me was that the north endzone was closed in, connected, and close to the field. I didn'tsee the need for two or three decks in the endzone like the initialrenderings showed. I don't see a real need to put seats under the jumbotron, but I don't have a big problem with it if they decide to do that later.

It's also key that we don't expand much more than 60K.Empty seats are a bad thing.

where the press box currently is. Maybe those are going to be some of the "semi-private box seats" that were discussed in the survey.

The end zones look great, and the brick exterior is outstanding. I guess we're also removing the lights from the west side?

I like this iteration much better than the previous sketches that were along the lines of the Texas A&M endzone. It appears that they are addressing the grade changes, cracks, and steep slopes of the West Side concourse which is a major plus. Also they are adding those vertical circulation towers on the Western Facade which judging by the size andbrick claddingare most likely elevators. Also it appears there will be some interior space under the North End Zone that will be conditioned, I wonder if that'll be new locker rooms?

Frankly i'd like to see them replace the single Arch with a triple arch motif similar to the Industrial Education building and lose some of the corner curtainwall accents (which will most liekly be spandrel anyway) but over all the aesthetic is nice and consistent with the context. However there really is no need for Maroon metal roofing.

wonder if that will really happen. Also, the stands on the south side really need to come up the sides of the M-Club and fill in the bowl. I think the little strip of stands shown now looks unfinished. I love the possibility of sticking the press at field level in the north end-zone. Why should they have the absolute best seats (East facing 40 to 40 yard line) in the entire stadium? Their passes are free! Put them in the end zone and if they want better seats, let them pony up like the rest of us.

Other than that....I think it looks great.

the enormous sections look to remain on the West side. As someone whose tickets are in the slap middle of Section F, I'd really really like to see them cut those sections down a little bit and add some more stairs/walkways up to the concourse.</p>

They aren't going to remove existing/sold seats unless they absolutely have to so I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.

Sticklin talks about it in the third video. It is right on the field and one of the pictures shows the view. Are we really getting another huge jumbotron? It looks wider than the current one. We're gonna be the kings of college jumbotrons. I'll take it.

We probably should treat the end of the upper concourse with the EIFS system similarly to the East Upper. Just a thought.
