Was just discussing the Nutt situation with a big Bear fan at work. He thinks Nutt's got to get to 5 wins to have a chanceof keeping his job. He said none of the Bear fans he's talking to think Nutt will be back next year. I tend to agree. $6M is a lot of money, but if you drop 10,000 season tickets next year you're $3M in the hole even if you keep him, plus you've got to pay him $2M anyway if you don't extend his contract.

Nutt is usually more creative than this. I wonder if he knows the end is near. Normally I would expect the following:

"It's not fun. Winning is how you spellback to back Cotton Bowls. You can imagine that it's not a good feeling, because you want to win just like we did when we won those Cotton Bowls. That's all you try to do each and every Saturday, and it's difficult even though sometimes you win back to back Cotton Bowls."<span class="aa"></span></p>

The Bears biggest issue won't be exposed this week but more the following week and again vs LSU. Look at thier numbers on defense Vs. rushing. Opponents have tore them up running the football. Even the FCS team put up decent rushing yds vs. the bears. That's ALL Auburn can do is run. And LSU is as good at it as Bama is and Bama put up 400yds rushing on them. It has been an issue since they hired the DC. They can't stop people from smashing them with the ball which is why I say we beat them yet again. Put the "Bear Hunter" Relf in there and let him do what he's done in his career......beat Ole Miss.
