he is seeing in Melton what I saw- I am hearing our fans get on Max all year and not recognize this kid was 1:1 so many time- and we didnt hear about his sacks, blitzes, downfield tackles- for exactly that reason- play was usually away from him. He got burnt maybe 3-4 time all year- think about that. Source Gardner got burnt that many time just against the Dolphins.
Kid had a great season- Obviously- so did the rest but had to comment on MM

I've never heard anyone get on Max on this board. What are you talking about?? If it's game thread crap, it's coming from losers who actually post during the game instead of watching it.

Lots of people said Max was struggling at times- especially early in the season.

The game threads are some of the best stuff here and not in a good way.
I used to start reading them the day after. I found it to be a complete waste of time as you're reading the dumbest, lonely people on the planet and they think their opinion is the smartest. In reality they get proven wrong a few plays later

no, not game threads- but many times during the season in a lot of threads- some very reactionary "fans" were calling him out- I came out to defend him a ton of times during the season with the same exact statement- he was 1:1 island all season and you almost never heard him mentioned.
I explained to these people- that is the best compliment you can ever give a CB...

Game day threads are raw emotion and bad takes.
