I booed, and booed loudly. It made me very happy to hear the chorus of boos as well.

I listen to radio during the game and Ray Lucas got on the fans for booing Flood saying he doesn't play in the games etc. I like Ray but had to set him straight on twitter. I am a huge RU fan but this team is unwatchable. They are very indisciplined and our QB although tough, has not developed. Our offense is stagnant. I don't understand why the coach won't give Rettig an opportunity. Our defense is porous and is rarely able to make a stop. We have gone back to the bad ole days.

If you asked me ahead of time, would I boo an anti drunk driving ad appearance by Flood on the scoreboard, I would have said no because, logically, I don't think it looks very good. Yet when his face popped up and "I'm Kyle Flood" came out, I had a completely visceral and instinctual reaction to boo my *** off.

If anyone saw this past week's episode of R Football, the second half of the show was basically a Flood propaganda piece. Mothers of players and the players all speaking highly about Flood.

I was the only one to boo in my section. The rest were Husker fan wondering why I was booing during a timeout

I admit to booing...as said above it was almost a pent up reaction to being so disgusted about the coaching...when his face got put on the board it was almost like a cork popping...

Sorry, hard to resist..........You should go to the army game and join the many fans we have that are rooting for our kids to lose, you can all be happy together.

Personally, I am not FLood supporter, and its time for change, but I am very thankful that being happy to hear boos, and rooting for RU student athletes to lose will never be part of happiness for me.

In a normal circumstances even with a coach under fire I would never root against Rutgers. But, with the intensity of everything going on not only with RU football, but with the threat of terrorism and war fresh in out minds again, and the fact that we're playing army in West Point, it's go army time. USA! USA!

a friend of mine spoke to a very highly recruited nj player and the kid and family loves Rutgers. However the kid is going to school out of state.

When asked why not Rutgers, dads answer was "I don't believe flood can win big".

The fans current thinking is that if we lose and lose bad, he gets fired and this spiral has a chance to be rectified.

I'm taking my son to Disney On Ice.
I won't even think of Rutgers one bit. That is what Kyle Flood has done to me.

Wow remember when @bac2therac and I were viciously assailed by three of the most prominent Floodies when we remarked how badly Flood was booed in this ad during the Kansas game....

Where are they now?

I was proud to boo I hope the clowns in charge did it purposely but I doubt it as they pump Flood propaganda on Facebook

I joined the chorus. I simply wish the stadium was packed like when they retired EL's number and you saw the converse reactions to Tim and Julie during the tribute video. The ad gave the perfect opportunity to make it clear the boos are directed at Flood/play calling and not the players. I'm sure though the story will now be Rutgers fans support drunk driving....
