I agree, I doubt he would say...'yeah, I think I'm going to be fired' One thing I've learned about Fludd over the years is that he is a straight faced bullsh×tter. I don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth one way or the other.I don't know whether he has the support of the university. It's Rutgers and they generally don't care about this stuff unless they absolutely must. That said, I have heard that he might not be viewed as he believes he is internally.
One thing I know for sure though- I never, ever believe what I hear a coach say when asked about their job security. Very rarely will you hear someone give an answer that isn't similar to what Flood said, though he did go a little further with the having had conversations part.
Like anything though, he is the head coach...until he isn't.
I plan on not buying tickets next year. Don't renew. They will get the picture if enough people stop paying for this nonsense.
Don't assume the administration is dumb. They know what to do. That whole ticket protest only hurts our program.
No. This sounds like Fred Hill Jr. when the writing was on the wall and he desperately tried to hold onto his BB job and had to literally be pulled by his fingernails out the gymnasium door. Rutgers settled with him and he was gone. So too will Elmer Fudd.Sounds like a man with inside information.
Yet another example of empty suit syndrome
