That's 4.5 points too many I'm thinking 19.5 but I really think we will cover no matter what they give them

Florida is coming off a disappointing game. They fell to #2 in AP poll. I'm sure Meyer will light a fire under their asses this week. I expect a sharp, crisp game from arguably the best team in the nation this weekend. Looks about right to me.

That our secondary won't have to be tested too much Tebows thrown for 50 more yards than Tyson Lee this season

Those of you thinking we are going to somehow magically beat them are nuts, however we might be able to cover 24.

I'm not sure you can have a safe bet on this game this week, depends on who shows up for Fla., and yes they were lucky and embarrassed this week,

plenty of other games out there, go find one.

Our game is a pure crap shoot.

Florida was a 24.5 point favorite the year that Norwood beat them. If I remember correctly, it even jumped to 27

it to go up as well....i would think by saturday, all the amateur betters are gonna drive this line up to 26-27pts..I dont know if half americas 'professional gamblers' even know we have a new coach, and new attitude....say what you want, but we arent the same MSU team that has lined up the past 5 years.....and I think that is who america/vegas still thinks we are.....I, by know means, wear wool..........but I think we cover this game.....

I think it will drop after UF's performance against Arkansas. Perhaps I'm overestimating the gambling community's familiarity with teams they bet on or against, but I think anybody getting involved in this game will have some knowledge of Mullen's background, familiarity with UF, etc.

I'm thinking we lose 35 - 10. Florida's D can be exploited, but only with the deep ball. We do not have that threat. Their D is going to eat our lunch. I don't expect a high output on the points side.

On the defensive side of the ball, we give up the deep ball. Remember that play Saturday where the Arkansas corner bit on Tebow's play-action leaving the WR wide open for the long TD? I don't care if we have a similar offense and our defense sees that in practice, expect to see that result a 2 or 3 times Saturday.

Sorry for the pessimism. But our team just doesn't set up well for taking advantage of UF weakness.

against the pigs... Meyer will be bringing something totally different to StarkVegas... and Mullen will be ready... We'll put points on the board regardless of UF's #1 Defense it will be enough to cover that spread.. just guessing: UF 34 MSU 14!!

Prior to Tebow's injury, they beat three out of four teams by more than 30 points (Troy, Kentucky, and Charleston Southern). Since the injury, they beat LSU by 10 and Ark by 3, scoring 13 and 23 points in each game respectively. All of our losses, minus Auburn, have been by less than two TD's.

And that's a good thing for us. I expect Tebow to have a good passing day, but Houston has a better offense right now. The difference is the defense. If we're able to score more than 17, Florida won't cover the spread.
