As much as I dislike UConn, I love watching them play. Always a tough team. Feels like watching a Steelers/Ravens game. Just physical. Wish we had a coach that was about toughness like Hurley.

I feel the same way, if they win yet again I just give up. I can’t take another title from them.
I might give up basketball if Uconn catches us in titles. What’s the point if we’re stuck in mediocrity and they’re blasting past us?

Their strength lives in discipline and defense, not frantic pace. You can’t go possession for possession in a slow, half-court chess match. You have to turn them into sprinters, not grinders.
Arizona proved that recipe works, but they aren’t the only team built for it. Michigan, Duke, and Iowa State also have the combination of size, athleticism, spacing, and scoring balance that stresses UConn’s system, especially if they rebound aggressively and push pace. Sadly, Arkansas belongs in that group too, but we know Cal will fizzle out. Teams with multiple shooters, long forwards who can switch, and deep rotations can stretch UConn out of rhythm more than pure star-power teams. The profile that troubles UConn isn’t about one superstar. It’s about deep, physical, fast, and versatile squads that can make them defend the floor before their defense gets set.
