yepShapen hung him out almost as bad as Will Rogers did Davis
Not if you put the starters on the sideline when the game is out of hand and play the backup.Guys it’s nobody’s fault. Sucks. But injuries happen.
A&M still had their starters in. It was on Shapen for hanging him out to dry like Will Rogers did Davis. This is all on the HC
You can’t be stubborn and when you have a thin roster you have to think long term.Guys it’s nobody’s fault. Sucks. But injuries happen.
At that point in the game, down 31-9 with under 3:00 left, should your best players, maybe the best player, still be in the game on offense? Hell no. But no one ever cares because hidden end of the year garbage time offensive stats are what it’s all about.Guys it’s nobody’s fault. Sucks. But injuries happen.
A&M still had their starters in. Fluff getting hurt is on ShapenAt that point in the game, down 31-9 with under 3:00 left, should your best players, maybe the best player, still be in the game on offense? Hell no. But no one ever cares because hidden end of the year garbage time offensive stats are what it’s all about.
So Thompson shouldn’t have been in on the next to last drive for the TD pass? Not if you put the starters on the sideline when the game is out of hand and play the backup.
It doesn’t matter what A&M was doing. Does it? Why? You have to do what best for your team and the rest of the season. Down 31-9 with under 3:00 minutes. It’s your best player on offense at running back. Think about it. It’s not rocket science. Garbage time stats make a coach look good at the end of the game and year, but let your best player get hurt for the year doing it, and it’s on the coach. No excuse.A&M still had their starters in. Fluff getting hurt is on Shapen
broken ankle is my guess, so yes, he's gone for 2025Fluff injured bad?
Looked like an ankle to me. He got on the cart mostly by himself but it's never a good sign when the cart gets called outFluff injured bad?
There was 8:00 minutes left when Thompson scored, cutting the lead down to two scores. You STFU lol.So Thompson shouldn’t have been in on the next to last drive for the TD pass?
STFU!
Nobody does that. Nobody. Not if you put the starters on the sideline when the game is out of hand and play the backup.
Guys it’s nobody’s fault. Sucks. But injuries happen.
Hindsight is 69/69You can’t be stubborn and when you have a thin roster you have to think long term.
that drive should have been Taylor and Guyton getting some good reps and let your starters live to fight another day.
Could have just as easily been Shapen getting hurt on another sack the next play..
was also a bad decision by Shapen because he’s getting tackled for a loss there anyway - then compounds it with a bad throw.
when it’s not your night, don’t tempt fate
Down 31-9 with under 3:00 minutes left, yes they do lol. And who cares what nobody does or doesn’t do anyway? Why does it matter what other people do? You have to do what’s best for your team and the rest of the season.Nobody does that. Nobody.
