[h=4]Football Seating Update - April 17[/h]
As we wrap up week 2 of the football seat selections, the Bulldog Club wanted to share an update on the process and how the schedule will conclude over the next several weeks.
Seat selection appointments started at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8. The schedule is set for 2 members to enter the selection site every 5 minutes. We did not schedule appointments on the Friday of Super Bulldog Weekend or for GoodFriday. On days of home SEC baseball games the last scheduled appointment is at 2:30 p.m. On all the remaining days, the schedule concludes at either 4:30 or 5 p.m.
Starting on Monday, April 28, the schedule picks up pace a little as 3 members will be entering the selection process every 5 minutes. There will be no selections scheduled on May 9 and the last appointment is scheduled for Thursday, May 22 at 3:15 p.m.
Throughout the first 2 weeks, the most commonly asked questions and topics of discussion have been case sensitivity of passwords, the best method of selection and specific selection times.
The passwords are case sensitive in the Seat Selection platform but not in the Dog Tag platform. When the data was uploaded, it was converted to ALL CAPS and this has caused some difficulties in logging in for some people who typically use lower case passwords. If you have not yet attempted to log in or have had problems, please use your Dog Tag password but in ALL CAPS.
Over the next 8 weeks, seat selections will be uploaded back into the Dog Tag system and locations will start to show up in your account when you log in. At this point no seat data has been loaded so if you look in your Dog Tag account you will still see unallocated season tickets, even if you have completed the selection process.
Many have asked if they are better off selecting online or by phone. In reality, neither method is better than the other. The most important factor is your comfort level with a computer. We can see user login history on each account and in many cases those who have indicated a preference to be called will already be logged in when we call. In those cases we typically talk them through the process and they pick online themselves. We also have the option to take over the session and make the selection for them and they can see the seats change colors and populate into their cart for confirmation. Either way is effective and there is no difference in the amount of time required.
You may recall, a few weeks ago, an email was sent out informing members that selection times had been posted in their Dog Tag account. It included a screen capture of a sample account indicating where the information was located. This was a sample account and we have had quite a few calls from people asking why the time in the email differs from the time in the appointment letter they received. Again, this screen capture was a sample and was not indicative of your specific time.
Some notes after 2 weeks of selections:
- The 100 and 200 levels are full. The last person to pick in the 200 level was ranked 1206 and picked Thursday morning at8:40. The last person to pick in the 100 level was ranked 1300 and picked Thursday at 11:20 a.m.
- The last person to pick seats on Thursday was ranked 1428.
- Section 4, which is mid-field on the west side, still has 184 seats available. Sections 3 & 5 have a combined 3855 seats available and the west side lower level as a whole has 8890 seats available.
- Section 20, which is mid-field on the east side, has 1449 seats available.
- There are still seats available in the east side Club Level and in the Scoreboard Club. Those seats can be selected during this process and Bulldog Club pledges can be adjusted if necessary to accommodate any increase in seat premium requirements. Just this morning, someone who was seated in section 305 last year moved 8 seats into the Club Level section 125.
- Gridiron passes are still available and can be purchased from the Bulldog Club for $750 each. The Gridiron is a field level premium experience that anyone in any seat in the stadium can enjoy. For more information, please visit the Bulldog Club website.
The Bulldog Club and Ticket Office staff send out a big thank you to all members and season ticket holders. We look forward to visiting with the rest of you as we finish this process and, most importantly, we are looking forward to seeing all of you in the expanded Davis Wade Stadium on August 30. Hail State!
