The ones I noticed from 1A was the Cannady and Glaspie studs from Wallace to ECU, and 2 YVC kids, Antonio Williams from North Stanly to Ohio State and Gabe Ellis from WM to Olivet Nazarene. Did I miss any?Surely there are more 1A signees. Where are the kids from your favorite team going?

The kid from Davidson Day, Matt Price who is going to Tusculum is a Stanly County kid who attended West Stanly and North Stanly.

East Surry's Blake Marion signed to go to Wingate University. Blake is an outstanding athlete but he is even a better young man. He is the definition of a team player and all of us in the Pilot Mountain community are looking forward to great things from him as he continues his education and playing career at Wingate University.

ESOD, wasn't he old school straight on kicker? If so, I was shocked the first time I saw him kick, hustling to get the shoe on. Brought back old memories. Good for him.

Yep, he is a straight on kicker. They say he went to a camp down at WSSU and met the coach and he was a straight on kicker as well. Gotta give Devon credit, he has worked hard to get where he is at. At the least he'll get an education out of this deal and still get to play some football too. Win win situation if you ask me.
