Tommy Armstrong had a good scrimmage yesterday. Threw zero pics while completing some touchdown tosses. He also ran well. Some on here were melting down over a pic six he threw last week during a 7 on 7 drill.

I like Armstrong. I think he is going to turn some heads this year and have a great season. He has always had the athletic ability. It was just a question of better decisions. I think another year under these coaches will have him playing at a very high level.

Can't wait for this season to start to wash out the bad taste of last year

Thanks for the positive; the one area that makes me choke on my Koolaide once in a while. My main thought is he has so many great quarters; just pull him for a short period if he has one of his short breakdowns. Appears qb depth still a concern

I am pretty confident the offense will take a step forward this year. Defense will be the determining factor in how the season goes and I am not confident in Banker' ability to bring this defense up to speed

so the practice where he was terrible is non-representative, but the one where he looks good is?
I think it's meant that TA's bad practice isn't an exact indication of how this season will play out for him (since there were many concerned posts about TA's bad practice).

And the OP wasn't claiming that this good practice would be an exact indicator of TA's season either.

The practice was a 7 on 7 drill on the first day of full pads. Saturday was a scrimmage. I think the latter is more important than the former.
Possibly, but what this really says is this is more of the same from TA. He's great, then bad. Repeat. The hope this year is that cycle wouldn't emerge again.
