Heh. "Spot on" in the sense that Rhule now has Nebraska at 5-1 and ranked (#25 in AP poll). I think Nebraska doesn't want to lose him.

That was my knock of Franklin, that he couldn't beat top SEC competition at Vandy. "Oh, but it's Vandy," all the Franklin guys said. "Imagine what he could do with Penn State resources." Now we know.

I could say the same of Rhule, except that as a HC, he turned around Temple, Baylor, and now Nebraska, all in short order. Yeah, he flamed out with Carolina, but so did Saban and Meyer with their respective NFL teams.

While I understand the Franklin firing, still have this odd thought about being careful what you wish for in the back of my brain.
