They aren't going to stop because of CBO. As they shouldn't.

Agreed. The Author simply reviews CBO's past "analysis" and concludes their numbers are not reliable enough to base policy decisions on.

Correct.

We just need a good bill that addresses the real causes for health care's outrageous costs, and offers reliable common sense solutions for affordable insurance to pay for better care at cheaper prices.

If you ask me, I say the ultimate solution is to just get Government out of health care.

Problem solved.

The problem we face as you know Snow Sled Baby is those who's entire existence is devoted to not only protecting Leviathan (ie Medicaid, Welfare, subsidies) but growing it.

Unless you advocate mass extermination of these leeches, I'm afraid we have a problem making any commons sense sensible to that crowd.

Snow Sled Baby I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere those bloodsuckers (Politicians)

I'm ready to grab a pitchfork and run their parasitic emaciated corpses out of D.C. once and for all!

Both parties....Vampires. All...can't stand 'em.

My little theory Snow Sled Baby goes like this:

The only problem we face in Washington D.C. is a fight over a big pile of money that gets collected down there and who (which party) gets to spend it?

They want to to have a giant spending party with our money and we're not invited.

That about sums it up for me my Man.

No doubt that would help. But to me their primary objective would still be to "get elected, and stay elected".
If they were term limited out, they'd just run for something else, or lobby to get some kickback once they leave Office.

I'd prefer citizen legislatures. Meet for the first three months of the year, pass the bills needed, then go back home to work your real jobs. No more serving at the pleasure of the citizens on their dime. No more permanent residence in D.C. with paid staffs and bloated budgets to maintain satellite offices back in the district.

Pay for your own transportation, staff, meetings, office, and campaigns. No more "franked mail" touting how hard you're working for the people who are paying your salary and expenses to keep your cushy job.

Get a real job, and work under the very laws (restrictions) you pass for us to work under and exempt yourselves from.

I mean it Snow Sled Baby, I despise them.
