ESPN Article on Phil Jackson
I generally enjoy reading Bill Simmons articles, even if they can get a bit lengthy. This is a pretty solid article depecting Phil, all he has done, and the toll it has taken on him both mentally and physically.
My favorite point made is that while some people say he has hadit easy coaching the talent on his teams,having those players (and egos)has actually taken more effort and coaching skill on his part. You can say he has had arguably 3 of the top 5 players of all time, but maybe you look at it from another perspective. 3 of the top 5 players of all time have been coached by him. Maybe he is the secret to their success. Then again maybe it is their freakish athleticism and dedication to the game. Either way, still a good read.
