For the guy looking for Abita Strawberry Harvest...

I was at Kroger on Hwy 51 in Madison a little while ago, and they have a pallet of Abita Strawberry over on the left side of the store by the recliners. I saw it and thought I'd give you the heads up.

I don't either. People are too busy putting their extra funds into 22lr. But don't fall for the Covington strawberry. Girlfriend got it out of 'necessity' last year and I've not let her make a decision since.

Seems to be the case. Out to dinner in Natchez tonight, they were out of my first request of Jackamo but had plenty of Strawberry Abita. I went with a Coors Light.

Personally, after having the new beers, Strawberry's not that high on my list anymore.

I liked it when I had very few options. Still prefer Blue Moon Spring Ale if we're talking pre-beer freedom. But I'm on a Goose Island 312 kick now.

If I ever was to enter a strawberry beer argument amid grown-*** men, I would venture to say that the Covington Co. Strawberry made by HeinerBrau smokes Abita. There. I said it. Abita is the bnuting of strawberry beers

I just found it at the Shell on Yandell Road in Gluckstadt. I bought some because I had never tried it. It was fair.

It's not bad, but shock top lemon shandy, raspberry, and apple honey are better. As is any leinenkugel.

Avoid that "end of the world" shock top, it's terrible.
