Wondering what you've now done to get all of the ESPN channels and SECN back? Don't really care about ABC if I can get MNF/all CFB through ESPN.

I have really liked YTTV since finally getting off DTV a year ago and hoping there will be a resolution soon so looking for something to fill the gap for now. Anyone just sign up for ESPN Ultimate to fill the void?

I have loved YTTV and have had it for 6 years. This is so disappointing, because they usually resolve these at the 11th hour. But, YTTV FAFO’d, and even if they do get ESPN back the rates will go up.

FUBO is offering a 7-day free trial. DirectTV has a 5-day trial. Hopefully they’ll have this figured out soon.

MNF is on ABC this week, so you could at least watch over the air. I’ll be in attendance this week, so that’s one reason in can hold off on trials for now. I had to steal my brothers login to watch the replay yesterday!! Of all weeks to go off the air.

I got directv and had to add a sports package but I got everything free for 5 days. Then it will be $64 for the first month so I will just stick with it for now and decide what to do in December. Luckily my YTTV would have renewed tomorrow so Im not overlapping a payment.

So far I dont like the Directv interface it is slow and not as good as YTTV.

I watched on my laptop, via the TVApp that was provided on here. It worked, not the best, video, but very adequate.
I cut it off at half time, with plans to rejoin, and it was overloaded, had to wait to get back on.

I'll give YTTV some room for a short time. I think they will get this worked out, soon.

I have YTTV, i got the espn unlimited and watched the game there. didn't realize i already had an espn acct but i did watch different games via the app prior to saturday but for some reason it wouldn't let me watch the state game unless i upgraded. my upgrade is paid for for the month which will take me through the remainder of the season excluding post season, so i'll make a decision at that time but i will cancel the espn acct before next billing cycle regardless. if YTTV doesn't have it resolved i'll figure it out in Dec. but I will cancel YTTV if they don't resolve as I normally only watch sports and I have no use for them if i cannot do that.

Sling day pass Saturday. But long term I’ll just pay for the ESPN platform and likely cancel YTTV.

Over air antenna and ESPN bundle
Same, plus the freebies i.e. YouTube, Prime, Pluto, Tubi etc.

Why is it you can almost always go to regular YouTube (not YTTV) while we are playing any football game and watch it there free? Somebody else asked that question a few weeks ago and nobody ever answered but any time I've tried to it's always there. Is it somebody pirating it for everybody's benefit or what?

Yep. I’m surprised YT doesn’t monitor it better.

I haven't made a move yet. I watched the games on ABC over the air, and listened to our game on the radio. If this goes a while and YT doesn't give me a break on the rate as they said they would in their email, I'll more than likely move to Fubo or try Sling again. Not in any hurry right now as I'll just see how things develop.

I have YTTV and really like it…….i put Disney/ESPN acct on 3 month hold

so for game, I did sling day pass

i pretty much only care about college football and STATE baseball. I’d Disney and espn don’t straighten up, then I’ll just be done. I think the numbers are getting absurd and I may just not really care to participate anymore🤷🏼‍♂️

Did same - they have more channels I like and I like you can set up your own guide to eliminate the channels you like. YouTube has the better interface but worse negotiators.

Reality is most will be switching back and forth as one raises prices and one woos us like a Babylon *****.

Was at my son's house for the weekend and he signed up for Sling - one game option. I think it costed him $1. You only get one devise but I will probably do the same thing for future games.

That's how I watched it - as best I can tell, it's the real feed. The drawbacks are it buffers a little (videos normally don't on my internet) and you get yt ads when you get them - meaning, it might be in the middle of a play. All in all, it's not bad for free but I'd about as soon listen on the radio.

the wife needs HGTV, so FUBO won't work for us.

I've got YouTube Premium Lite for $7.99/mo which means no ads. I did that because of all the other YouTube videos I watch and not for ballgames but its a big plus. I couldn't take the same repetitive ads over and over and over again on YouTube so for $7.99/mo its a bargain. I did have regular Premium $14.99 before Premium Lite $7.99 which includes YT Music and downloads and that was really good but I just seldom used it.

I dropped youtubetv saturday and will not be going back after this nonsense. I signed up for the ESPN bundle thing for $30 per month. I talked to the wife and both kids and they didn't seem to care so we'll have to see how it shakes out. We pretty much watch all college sports all the time, zero pro except golf so the ESPN thing works for us for now. I was able to go back and watch our volleyball game last night against LSU. I can't imagine any regrets about losing youtubetv though, yet.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of this depends on each user’s specific situation.

I absolutely hate having to bounce between apps, but I did find out last weekend that since we were already paying $20/mo for Disney/HULU/ESPN+, all I had to do was upgrade it to ESPN unlimited for $10 more in order to get all the ESPN channels back.

If YTTV ends up crediting me $20 due to losing the ESPN channels, I guess there’s a chance I’ll actually end up saving some $$, but it’s still so frustrating. I really don’t want to be bouncing between 5 different apps to watch football on the weekends

YTTV works well for me and I really like their UI. I also like being able to jump around channels easily without having to change apps. I would strongly prefer they get ESPN back AND go back to their roots a skinny bundle--If they got back to the original concept of 40-50 channels for $50-60 it would make me happier.

For now I have borrowed credentials for ESPN Unlimited but not sure how long that will last. I really liked the idea of a standalone ESPN until they announced the monthly price. If this YTTV garbage drags out too long I may end up cancelling and sub to ESPN until basketball is over because I also want it for Royal Rumble / WrestleMania.

I bought a Sling Day Pass on Saturday. I'll do it the next two Saturdays if it goes that long. I'll be at the Egg Bowl.
