I noticed something when looking at the team rankings on 24/7. We have an average player rating of 85.21 and most teams outside the top 15 or so have around a 85 to 86 overall rating. So with that being said I think we have a really solid class its just that most teams have 25 or more commits and we only have 18. That kind of makes the numbers look bad for us but in reality its not

You can't tell me there isn't at least a 10-15 point margin of error on evaluations among most 3-4 star guys using a 100 point scale. Now your sure fire 5 star guys like Chris Jones etc... different story. Would be nice to get another couple of him, but there really are not that many guys like him any given year.

Yeah, two great QB's who fit the System and the Gatorade Football Player of the year in MS in Aeris Williams. We'll get along just fine.
Brandon Bryant may be the best player in this class. Gerri Green and Graham are beasts as well. I'd say my sleeper in the class would be Deshon Cooper.
i read where Bryant said he was visiting MSU, Ole Miss, USM and "a few JUCOs".
Its not often you see these kids talking about visiting JUCOs before signing day.
The thing with that is that once you get past the top 10 teams who pretty much get whoever they want then everybody else is pretty much guessing based on how they evaluate talent. I think once you get past the top ten classes in recruiting its pretty much even all the way down to around the 50th class or so.
with Milton transferring, reckon ol Aries Williams will get the ball some next year?

Per average composite rating, we're just a shade below where we were in 2012 and 2013. I expect to finish strong but it won't move the needle much- Stallings and Hutcherson are both underrated and will actually hurt average star rating despite being solid pickups.
