read the sixpack twitter feed or...

This was in the sixpack email.

First email @ 2:03 PM said from [email protected] - "There's about to be a letter posted on ED. It will be false. Await proof later. Cheers".

I replied with: "Ok?"

Person replied with at 2:22: "Patience. Not time yet".

Then they followed with this an hour later at 3:08: "LOL at Coach 34" and sent this picture.

CONFIDENTIAL/VIA E-MAIL

Mr. Ross Bjork
Director of Athletics
University of Mississippi
908 All-American Drive
University, MS 38677

Dear Mr. Bjork,

As you are aware, for several months NCAA enforcement staff, with the cooperation of the University of Mississippi ("UM"), have investigated a number of allegations regarding the football program's compliance with the NCAA legislation, including, but not limited to, allegations involving UM student-athletes Robert Nkemdiche, Antonio Conner, Laremy Tunsil, Kailo Moore, and Mississippi State University student-athlete Chris Jones. As you are also aware, this investigation was initiated as a result of multiple alleged violations reported to the NCAA by several Southeastern Conference member-institutions.

While our investigation is ongoing, the purpose of this letter is to place UM on preliminary notice of evidence of numerous violations involving impermissible benefits and extra benefits to student-athletes within the preceding three academic years. It is anticipated that these violations may result in the imposition of significant penalties at the conclusion of this investigation.

The second purpose of this letter is to advise UM that its continuing cooperation and immediate and future compliance with NCAA legislation will be taken into consideration in the final resolution of this matter. We will continue to keep you periodically advised of the results of our investigation as it proceeds.

The NCAA takes seriously its commitment to being an integral part of higher education while focusing on the development of our student-athletes.

Lastly, our legislative actions toward competitive or academic character have since 1934, when our legislative body was formed, been implemented in the spirit of honesty and integrity.

If you take the first character of the last sentence until 1934 - it says LOL AT COACH 34. Whoever did that went to a lot of work.

That is pretty spectacular. A quick Google search will tell you that the NCAA was founded in 1906, not 19"34". You don't have to be an investigative genius to determine it is a fake. Of course, I probably would not have picked out the pattern on my own if it hadn't been circled...

That's my guess. Although someone texted me asking if HD6 and Bonedaddy were in on it. Apparently, they are blaming those two. I promise that HD or Bonedaddy don't care enough to do that.

I can't believe somebody actually wasted that much time writing a fake letter to annoy another team's fanbase.

I wonder when tigerdroppings will get their fake UM NCAA letter sent to them?***

That is awesome. Please tell me he posted the letter before it was made known that he had been duped.

Ouch

And now Coach's twitter page is "down" i.e. removed. And after he retweeted the letter to Matt Wyatt. Dick Cross, Tim Brando, and others....

Some not-MSU folks are saying Red Cub Rebellion did it. Beats me. Hell of a practical joke though.

He did. With detailed explanations as to why it was authenitc

and retweets of the letter to various SEC media folks (Wyatt, Brando, etc.), following initial tweets to them to be ready for big news (IT) at 2 pm.

He never said it was authentic.

ED used the word "alleged" right from the start. Several ED people posted some doubts about it.

And for every ED poster that had doubts, C34 was right there arguing with them. Don't act like this wasn't exactly what it was. He publicly sent it to Tim Brando and several other journalists. He thought it was real, and, apparently, did some investigation into its authenticity before publicizing it per the IT'S COMING thread two hours previous.

Does it? I see "LOL AT COACH S 34".
Let's keep ripping apart our own fan base. Maybe the answer to a united fan base is to keep separating into even more cliques, then we can all develop rivals within our own fanbase. That worked out real good for our basketball team when we needed to get a new coach 5 years ago.

C34 said the letter matched the NCAA's template. He said EDs are "errwhere". That's it. I defy you to find anything more than that.

Your lust to hate C34 is far greater than the clues in that letter.

True that. He said it "fit the template."

I wish it had gone on longer. Veezey blew the story up to fast. The only thing that could have made this better would be a yahoo or espn article titled "lolatcoach34".

We are reading the same thread, so let's don't act like we've got any more info than the other. He made a separate post in the thread highlighting specific parts of the letter, argued with those who doubted the letter by asking them for their basis for not believing it, republished the letter several times on twitter.

Also, I don't see how his comment that EliteDawgs are errwhere can't be interpreted as anything but taking partial credit for it.

It was a great joke, and C34 bit really hard.

I dont even really have any response to all this other than it is awesome. The Rebel obsession with C34 is very strange to me. I get he's a monster douche, but really, who cares? That said, this is incredible. It is the next best thing to OM actually getting hammered by the NCAA.

I wish we wouldn't let Ole Miss fans subdivide us and goad us into taking shots at each other. We need to be one solid undivided fanbase.

Come

on now. There are State douches (c34, will James, rugby, etc) just as well as OM douches (every nafoomer that posts here). If you act like a clown, you're going to catch hell.

Your and idiot. C34 wasn't taking credit for anything.

EDs are errwhere.. Yeah. Everywhere. Literally. Come on.

Given that the truth is now known by everybody - that EDs was honest in saying that the letter arrived by anonymous email, it is clear to everybody not blinded by C34 hate that C34 in fact didn't take credit for it.

EDs can do some things - like have Ole Miss remove a page from their own website. And when EDs do things, it is obvious that EDs are proud to let you know about it.

But this wasn't one of them. Anybody that knows C34 and reads much over at ED knows what happened and knows what C34 meant. It was moderately funny sarcasm. Not as funny as a forged NCAA letter, but funny to most.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much.

You sure do run over here to defend your fearless leader a lot. You need to find a better role model. The one you have is only going to let you down and possibly throw away your car keys.

The question was in reference to where the letter came from and he said "Elite Dawgs be errywhere" implying 1. he knew where it came from 2. it came from an Elite Dawg. He was as full of **** then as he has been on every other ******* thing he's said.

Let the back pedaling begin!!!!!!!

Look, asshat, it is clear to everybody that nobody knew where it came from. C34 isn't shy about taking credit for his accomplishments. He wasn't doing that here.

You are guilty of doing the same thing C34 did. You want so bad for this to be true, that C34 lied about the letter's origins, that you can't see the facts in front of you.
