I realize we may lose out on some big names this year, but overall I think our staff is making great strides.

Brassell and Singleton come from high schools that traditionally send players up the road, but we are still hanging in there with them after a mediocre season.

Singleton and sophomore Quay Evans (will be a big name next year) grew up $!%% fans and have been fans even recently, which can be proven because both are wearing $!%% shirts in their recruiting pictures. However, Singleton, while still probably a $!%% lean is at least considering us, despite our #1 receiver last year going for less than 400 yds. and $!%% having a guy leading the SEC in yds. Even better than that, even though we are a long long way from signing Quay Evans, he recently tabbed us as his favorite. This has to be disheartening for a $!%% fan to see us have worse seasons recently, and yet they are still losing interest from guys that should be locks for them.

There is no denying that there is excitement surrounding our program and we just need to have a few good seasons to keep that excitement alive and soon guys will be jumping onboard.

Hopefully the rebels suck bad this year and show no competence at QB. And hopefully Bumphis looks like the next Percy Harvin.

that is our only shot with Singleton. That we have a good year- 7-8 wins, and Ole Miss looks really bad. I think we could get Joe Price though. I'm just not sure that we want him.

I think we need to keep Dan to. As in hope that he is not hired away.

I'm speaking for the guy here, and even though I live in Madison, I have no idea what he will do- but what's going through his mind right now is he probably knows that he is a great fit for our offense, he could play a position that he really would like to play and that his favorite player played in the slot WR role, but I think he also likes Ole Miss because of his brother and the fact that they are likely to get Brassell, but they also are not in a good situation right now with their QB's, and Nutt typically prefers a running oriented team.

Personally, I think he's doing the best thing by waiting and seeing what happens with both programs- and that's whether he chooses MSU or Ole Miss.

I don't believe in all of that "Mystery recruit" BS and I won't stoop to that level even though I do follow recruiting. But I do think that he probably is 50/50 right now.

After OM limps to the finish line of their season (once they get through cupcake central), it should be clear to anyone with a brain that we are the program on the rise in the state.Around Oct. 16th, Stanley will be running for his lifeand the L's will begin to pile up for them. They could very well lose their last 6 SEC games this year. That wouldnot do wonders for their recruiting. If OM happens to slip up and lose one of their first 5 games this year, then they will be in for a loooonngg season.Hate it for them.

but some of you look at recruiting as a failure if Ole Miss does well too. As of right now, we have very comparable talent on our rosters, with the edge in offense going to us and edge in defense going to them.

So what if Tobias Singleton and Nick Brassell go to Ole Miss? Ever heard of Chad Bumphis? Brandon Heavens? They are on our roster now, and are just as good as Singleton and them. Next year, they'll be another couple that everyone thinks are gonna be the next Percy Harvin. I mean, ****, we've probably got some guys on our commitmentlist right now that are ascapable as them.

Chris was hired from OU where he was the d-line coach. I've read nothing but good things from players and recruits about Wilson. I think he's going to be a very solid recruiter for us.
