I just got a text message about the same time as the Jeremy Maclin TD in the Big 12 champ. that my boy Petersen accepted the 2nd offer and will be our next head coach. He had to throw up a smoke screen and said no on Firday, but will be our next coach.

Just so you know I screen shot this message just so I can let everyone know in the future that I broke the Petersen hire.

GIVE ME PETERSEN OR GIVE ME DEATH

Saban did it to the extreme with Alabama. I could see this scenario- Chris Petersen wants to take the MState job and the cool $3 million/ year offered by Byrne, but has said in the past he loves Idaho, loves living on the cheap, wouldn't ever go anywhere, and is perfectly happy living in his office eating Idaho Potatoes and drinking Diet Coke. What he could do is, after Boise St. lands a bid in the prestigious Humanitarian Bowl in fabulous Boise, Idaho, he could feign a snit and decide that he wants to go to a program where, if they go 12-0, they'd have a chance at a National Championship.

This is just me posting out loud. I haven't posted any rumors because I don't know any. For all we know, Mama may be callin' Bobby Wallace.

According to the swan, we should cross Petersen off. Says Wilson, Mullen, Grahm, and Bowden are our lead candidates. But f that ********. Petersen will be announced either tomorrow or Monday.
