This might be the worst college football game ever played. This video is a hilarious tribute....perfect music for it.

Gotdammit, we were the laughing stock of college football those years. I wish I had all the money back that I spent on tickets, travel, and BC donations from those years.

Auburn dropped in the polls with that win. The next week, they lost to LSU and moved up in the polls.

That game was almost, somehow, worse than the Auburn game 2 years before that where we got shutout. The Slytanic was in full sail operation in '08. What an embarrassment.

Unfortunately the three hours I spent in DW stadium that night can never be gotten back. The only loss that tops that in my opinion was Maine. Another three hours wasted in DW stadium.

I was on the sidelines of the Troy game where the stadium was evacuated. We won that one... but it was ugly and a sign of things to come. That was a win, but felt like a total waste.

If you're talking about the Croom hire, you're wrong. I remember, on this very board, bitching about it and getting blasted for it. His "Maroon is all that matters" speech fired up a lot of people and had them believing.

Everyone came around pretty quickly, though.

But I was a charter member of the croom sucks group. Unfortunately, it's kinda like the 99 Egg Bowl. Today, 150,000 people claim they were there that day.
