Thanks, I definitely knew the latter part but wondered why a Scot was a hometown boy.Currently lives 30 minutes from the course. He is transferring to UNC this year.
Will our battle become something of On3 legend? We have passed the Yankees thread as the most active thread on the ZZL.
F the Yankees, lolWe have passed the Yankees thread as the most active thread on the ZZL.
Scottie - 14 wins in his last 33 events.
The golf is pretty different imo. Tiger had a flair for the dramatic because he was super aggressive. Scottie’s golf is much more measured and consistent. Doesn’t put himself in as many bad spots needing the hero shots that gave watching Tiger that extra juice. I still love watching Scottie and he’s the main draw on tour for me.Scottie!! He’s is turning into Tiger before our eyes. Doing it a different way personality wise, but the golf is eerily similar.
Actually, Tiger's course management was measured and conservative just like Scottie's. I have heard Tiger say it and the data proves it too.The golf is pretty different imo. Those Scottish guys do seem to have rabbit ears.Of interest to me is how does MacIntyre handle the pro Scottie and American fans today?
He shhh'd some dude yesterday. Thought he might've been bothered by a patron on the 1st.
Reminds me somewhat of Colin Montgomerie.
Hope Scottie hits him with a 63.
Come on now...F the Yankees, lol
Randy Morgan at Forest City Golf Course is great. He was in Morganton until Helene wiped out his place but I got a set from him a few years back and could not be happier.Anyone know of a club maker in western NC, preferably around Asheville? I’m about 2 months away from recovery from a pretty bad illness (fine now, all good other than some surgical drain wounds still healing and needing to rebuild strength ). Thought I might celebrate with a new set of clubs to suit a now slower swing speed. I know there is a Club Champion in town, but I don’t think I’m up for that much of a $elebration.
I might also go to a place in Myrtle Beach that my Dad had used, but that is pretty inconvenient.
OTOH, I wasn’t too good before, maybe I’ll just hit up Nevada Bobs.
