He moved to the SF area when he was 3 but they put a Scottish flag by his name. Is he still a Scottish (which would actually be British) citizen?

Of interest to me is how does MacIntyre handle the pro Scottie and American fans today?

He shhh'd some dude yesterday. Thought he might've been bothered by a patron on the 1st.

Reminds me somewhat of Colin Montgomerie.

Hope Scottie hits him with a 63.

Good recovery by BG after starting triple, double, bogey. He birdied something like 7 of the last 12 holes. He’s safely into next week. He’s ahead of Bradley in Ryder Cup points- so if Bradley picks himself he’s got to pick Griffin.

Scottie!! He’s is turning into Tiger before our eyes. Doing it a different way personality wise, but the golf is eerily similar.
The golf is pretty different imo. Tiger had a flair for the dramatic because he was super aggressive. Scottie’s golf is much more measured and consistent. Doesn’t put himself in as many bad spots needing the hero shots that gave watching Tiger that extra juice. I still love watching Scottie and he’s the main draw on tour for me.

Chris Kirk missed the BMW by one place in the standings.

With Ted Scott in Florida, Scottie needed someone on his bag. In steps Kirk's caddy, Michael Cromie.

Scottie wins and Cromie will now see a $360K injection into his checking account. Nice work.

Actually, Tiger's course management was measured and conservative just like Scottie's. I have heard Tiger say it and the data proves it too.

Those Scottish guys do seem to have rabbit ears.

Anyone know of a club maker in western NC, preferably around Asheville? I’m about 2 months away from recovery from a pretty bad illness (fine now, all good other than some surgical drain wounds still healing and needing to rebuild strength ). Thought I might celebrate with a new set of clubs to suit a now slower swing speed. I know there is a Club Champion in town, but I don’t think I’m up for that much of a $elebration.

I might also go to a place in Myrtle Beach that my Dad had used, but that is pretty inconvenient.

OTOH, I wasn’t too good before, maybe I’ll just hit up Nevada Bobs.
Randy Morgan at Forest City Golf Course is great. He was in Morganton until Helene wiped out his place but I got a set from him a few years back and could not be happier.

I want to make sure everyone has this date -- the Walker Cup will be played September 6-7 at Cypress Point. This will be must-see TV for the course and the completion.

For those unfamiliar with Cypress Point, if there are any, it is arguably the most scenic golf course in the world. Also, The Match, is a fantastic book.
