My 9 year old wants to go to Pinehurst for his 10th birthday, so we luckily got a 12:30 tee time at the Cradle tomorrow for him, his brother, a friend, my wife and I. Will try to play it a couple times, some Thistle Dhu, and probably let them each customize a box of balls in the new Titleist shop.
The Cradle and about half of the regular courses open up tee times the day before at 8 am to non resort guests. How did you get a tee time?
Yes to both.Is Jackson Koivun playing well or a star in the making?
It wasn’t too obvious from the picture or post, but that was after a hole in one. Hit a nice little 56 above the hole. Pin was near the front and I couldn’t see the hole but there were a dozen folks watching from up top and they went wild. Was a great day with the boys. The outer two are mine and the middle is a friend there for the
I like his odds as the world’s number one ranked AmIs Jackson Koivun playing well or a star in the making?

I can’t really think of another generational superstar that is otherwise so unassuming as Scheffler. Guys like that, Tiger, MJ etc were out to dominate and they let you know it. Tim Duncan if you put him in that category would be one.

I had to do a quick google search to see what tournament was this past weekend. The ProCore or something like that? What season/year do the winning points go towards.. next year?Scheffler has taken the lead as expected. Hope Griffin can put up a challenge coming down the last 4 holes.
^ Really looking forward to this.Ryder Cup TV:

Yes, FedEx Cup points earned in the fall events (of which there are 7), count toward next season, with the caveat being that only players who finished this past season outside of the top 50 in the FedEx cup standings can earn points in any of the fall events. It's really just a way for those players outside of the top 50 to improve their position in terms of which events they can get into next season.I had to do a quick google search to see what tournament was this past weekend. All I took from that was players outside the top 50 are pissed because the top 10 Americans joined the field this year when they likely wouldn't have otherwise.Yes, FedEx Cup points earned in the fall events (of which there are 7), count toward next season, with the caveat being that only players who finished this past season outside of the top 50 in the FedEx cup standings can earn points in any of the fall events. Early returns indicate there will be entirely too much fuss made about the fact that the US players are getting paid but the Euro players are not. You’d think the Euro players are taking time away from their homelessness to play in this event. So what's everyone's prediction for the weekend?
My prediction is the US cannot depend on Scottie to roll thru his opponent, any of them whether it be foursomes, four ball or singles. Therefore, we're gonna need significant points from Spaun and DeChambeau. So what's everyone's prediction for the weekend?
That’s certainly worrisome. Can’t believe the cliff Morikawa has fallen off and Cantlay to some extent as wellMy prediction is the US cannot depend on Scottie to roll thru his opponent, any of them whether it be foursomes, four ball or singles. I have been familiar with Spaun since he was on the Korn Ferry Tour. If I had told you a year ago he would be a Ryder Cupper, much less one I thought we would depend on heavily, you would've probably called be crazy. And, deservedly so but that's where I think we are.
