Scottie has been playing like Tiger did on the PGA Tour and now he’s playing like Tiger did in the Ryder Cup.
I’m sure that’ll be chalked up to “pointy elbows” and “grit” and all the other BS the euro apologists shovel.
Feel a little better about Scottie after those last few holes. Hopefully seeing the ball go in a few times has him ready to roll tomorrow

I'd put Burns with Scottie out first and then the Young group out 2nd to maximize the chance of winning first two matches.
Rosie and Tommy just feel like 2 guys an average Joe would love to play a round of golf with….and then hang with at the bar afterward
Wow. Burns with a big missed opportunity on 18 green but it could’ve been worse (thankfully Rory missed his birdie too, from closer in). Match 8 halved. 5.5 to 2.5. Much better psychologically than 6-2.

Yeah but also not entirely surprising. The only thing that really surprised me was Scottie’s poor day. If Rahm, Fleetwood, Rory, Hatton, Rose etc are all playing great and our supposed best are hacking around… It’s a tall task.
Henley was hugely disappointing. Maybe we found something with Young. Looking forward to seeing him tomorrow morning (hopefully). JT having a big afternoon could bode well. He’s a momentum golfer.
Down 3 points. It could be worse. Play better Saturday and go into Sunday down no more than 4 and I like the USA’s chances.

The difference today was putting. The Euros, with a few exceptions (Rory on 18 etc) were rolling it in from everywhere. We have to make it harder for them. If they are seeing tons of blue on the scoreboard, the hole probably starts looking like a hula hoop. They need to start thinking about blowing a lead.
