I had already started this topic in the comments section guess you didn't see it. The way Forest Hills has played the last 3 weeks I don't see them beating Monroe. No energy and very lethargic performances. Monroe has also outscored conference opponents 157-3.

As much as I want to believe the Jackets will pull this one off, I can’t. Looking at comps from in conference, teams the Jackets have let hang around and run away from in the end Monroe put away by the half.
Jackets will have to play a perfect game and Monroe will have to make some mistakes.
I can guarantee you, though, that both teams will be up for this one. A lot of bloodlines will be on that field this Friday.

Heard Monroe was already talking junk saying FH hasn't played anyone. Look at Monroe's schedule and it's no better. They lost to a team they should have beaten and the Marvin Ridge and Sun Valley teams they beat aren't that good. Liked to have seen Monroe play Charlotte Latin. Still though you're right a lot of relatives playing against each other this Friday which makes it mean even more for both teams. FH has not played well the last 3 weeks. Just don't see an FH win unless they play mistake free and fired up for a change.

WIXE 1190 will carry the game on the radio over the UCpreps website and probably Iheart radio or tune-in radio if they carry WIXE. It's the Union County game of the week. Marvin Ridge vs Weddington is the other big matchup. Marvin Ridge has improved greatly from a slow start. They were a originally a preseason 4A top 10. Rivalry game also so two decent matchups in the county Friday night. 704 definitely has a lot of good games to conclude the regular season.
Also the half and half for the Forest Hills/Monroe game is gradually approaching $5000. Just got another alert from the school. Can't imagine what it will be by the time of the draw. Nothing compared to Pisgah/Tuscola game but not bad. I won it one year but it wasn't for a big game and I only brought home $164.00. lol
Simmons has FH as 18 point underdogs to Monroe. That's about the same as Massey had us as underdogs against Charlotte Latin and Parkwood. We're missing a couple stars from the beginning of the season due to injury and other reasons. Going to take a 110% effort and a bad game from Monroe to pull the upset. Also unfortunately I'm very sick and I'm going to miss the biggest game of the year. I'll have to watch on NFHS or listen on WIXE 1190. Hopefully I'll be ok for playoffs.

Our starting center has been out 3 games with a knee and our star Punt/Kick returner was booted from the team about 3 weeks ago from what I was told. Could be injury. Can't confirm it but he hasn't been with the team. I'll hopefully be there for the playoff game. Not happy about tonight. Biggest game of the year and I'm sick.

Would love to see it happen. Back in the day Monroe couldn't beat us but the rolls have reversed the last 10-12 years. They've got a great coach over there but FH has a good one now also so I hope we'll get back to a consistent form.

Hope I'll be there for the playoff game. I watched on the NFHS broadcast. We had them tonight. Feel bad for the kicker. He's usually very reliable. Still they played their hearts out. No clue on playoff opponent yet. Brackets are suppose to be out tomorrow sometime.

Forest Hills must be real good , should have won this game but that's part of it you got to learn how to win these type games . Glad to see Forest Hills doing so well.
