Fort Chiswell @ Giles.....Thoughts?!

Well it will be a reunion of sorts. I think Giles has the edge in this one. Not saying we don’t have the chess pieces to win but I think we don’t have the right people moving them around. It may be a close game at half time, then Fort will make less than zero adjustments at the half. While Giles on the other hand, comes out in the second half. Looking like a totally different team. I hope them boys from The Fort believe they can win and everyone tells me again, check that score.
Giles will be without a couple key starters in the game. Will not mention who or what position on this board but hopefully they can overcome it. I don' think with having 8 teams this year there are any bad teams. I think Fort will come to play.
If its not Biedelman it shouldn't matter in terms of the final outcome.
Only thing I worry about is after watching Giles for many, many years is they've came out flat in games following bye weeks. I know it's different year, different players, but still worries me. But as far as the game, I think forts "D" has played fairly well this year, but not sure they have enough offense to hang with Giles, so I'll say Giles 35-14
I think Giles should get through this one decently. I'll say a win by 17. That said they need to get in front and stay there so you can save the big dogs for Appo...That one is not a matchup I relish.
Also, anyone know how long it has been since both Giles Co. schools hosted a playoff game? Most of the businesses I spoke with (that aren't chains) are closing up at six-seven. There's not going to be anyone out and about Friday night to shop or eat.

Probably not. We have the worst fans ever. What happens in the stands on Friday night isn’t talked about Saturday morning. LoL!!!
One of the two coldest games I have ever been to was up there two years ago. Nothing against Giles, but I hated that trip and hope I never have to return unless I am passing through on my way to Blacksburg for a Tech game or something. Lol
If it's that bad then you never have to stop in Pearisburg even if you guys play there...I know it's not the big glamorous city like haysi or clintwood but we like it
Lol! The fans were not very welcoming or very generous is why I said that. Plus there was a guy parked and sitting in his car on the Giles side that had his lights on and on bright the whole game. Not cool. As far as the drive itself, I enjoyed that.
Also, I am FROM Dickenson County originally, but don't LIVE in Dickenson County now.
