a VERY quiet 4-2. With arguable their two hardest games behind them, (winning one of them)..could they run the table? We seem to have forgotten just how good they were not long ago. They didn't get lucky Saturday. They flat out were the better team and it was not a fluke. I am no fort fan, far from it. However I think we HAVE to include them in the discussion for best teams in the west if they continue to win. They sort of remind me of Galax last year....putting it together at the right time.

FC should be favored in all of their remaining games except for when they go on the road & Graham. 7-3 would be a huge improvement though.

So are you saying the wiping PM gave them was Fort having a bad day or is PM that much better. I don't know much about SWVA teams so I just asking. Would PM be that much better against Galax if they played?

I think Fort is getting better each week and the finally put the pieces together Saturday. Once it clicks it's usually hard to unclick. That said, PM is IMO the best team in the west and have a hard time seeing anyone beating them.

2nd year HC. Even after a 7-4 run in 2014, it was not in the best shape when he took over. You have to think they've gotten better. Anything can happen once the second Friday in November gets here.

If Fort can put together 2 games in a row, Galax & Narz. Then we can talk about them winning 7 games. Until then all the focus should be on the 2 best teams in 1A. Galax and GW. That been said, I think PM beats GW and the game I want to see. PM vs Galax, well it comes down to. How many teeth will each team have left when it's all said and done. 2 big and physical teams that love to run the football. I think the advantage might go to Galax because they can throw the ball. PM, not so much.

After going 0-10 last year, I would like to say. Them boys have put the work in, to get better. Winning is contagious and losing is also. Some times when you start losing it's hard to stop. So keep up the good work FORT.

I too would like to see the PM vs GW or Galax vs PM. Before Fort beat Galax, I figured that both GW and Galax would pound PM rather easily. I doubt that PM could beat Hurley either since both have about the same teams as last year and Hurley beat them rather soundly. Riverheads in the east is a different animal than these teams though. I don't see anyone in the west being able to stop them unless the Fort vs Galax game was a fluke. Dixon is a great coach and he did a great job last year against Riverheads but I just don't see it happening this year.
