Probably so. He apparently decommitted immediately following a visit to Nebraska so their fans seem to like their chances but it'll probably be hard to get him away from Mr. Harbaugh. He's headed to UM

He's headed to UM
Kids don't know who Petrino is anymore. All momentum he used to have is totally gone. Love it. Hope he wallows at that miserable University for the rest of his career.
That kid, and his dad, have always been looking for the next big thing. They were all UK at one point. And honestly, would have to be idiots for a WR to spurn a UofL offer for Nebraska.No...more than likely he is headed to Nebraska...Michigan isn't really recruiting him.
Still have a Top 25 Class with 21 Commits...great player but at this point more in the need of OL/RB to finish off this Class...already have enough quality Freshmen WR on the current roster plus quality WR already committed for 2016.

Your other good WR commit, Seth Dawkins, is taking an official to UK and staying all weekend this week. Our commit Jaylin Bannerman is one of his best friends and they're visiting together. He has 5 officials planned and none of them are to UL. I would never bet against Vince Marrow for an Ohio kid. Even if he doesn't end up at UK I'd be very surprised if he signs with UL. In a recent interview I read he didn't sound close to the UL staff or the other commits. He already sounded decommitted
Junior WR Staples arc is getting pretty crazy, entering Devante Parker realms of receiving. Fitzgerald was seen to have many of the same qualities. He was the star of the WR corps, without a doubt. Losing him sucks.
What Louisville needs is an O Line so bad they can taste it. Some of that is a function of youth - or so we hope - but I would trade an excellent OLine prospect for Fitz, considering the need level. This has been a Texas Chain Saw experience, watching the cards this year, lol.
Nah, pretty smart. UL is obviously evolving strangely into a read option/QB run dominated offense. Why play WR and stand around watching Jackson/Bonnafon/Pass run around? And honestly, would have to be idiots for a WR to spurn a UofL offer for Nebraska.
Question...do you see Staples declaring for the NFL draft?Junior WR Staples arc is getting pretty crazy, entering Devante Parker realms of receiving. Fitzgerald was seen to have many of the same qualities. He was the star of the WR corps, without a doubt. Losing him sucks.

Top 25? LOL. All I heard after UL beat a Florida team in the Orange Bowl that didn't even want to be there is that UL was now a premier destination. UL is actually right on the brink of collapsing for good. Have fun playing in lower tier bowl games from here on out. That won't make the delusional UL fans happy at all.
Staples is good but he is no Parker.
Rivals Recruiting Ranking currently is in the Top 25....also Louisville beat Florida in the Sugar Bowl not the Orange Bowl...the Orange Bowl win was against Wake Forest and the Fiesta Bowl win was over Alabama...
Also, collapsing for good....last I check 6th straight bowl season even while rebuilding and starting as many as 8 Freshmen on offense this year...ok if you say so.
You responded to my post first...it is what it is...lol
Didn't UL get the invite due to other teams rejecting the Bowl due to a boycott?Uh...not really...The Fiesta Bowl in 1987 hosted the 1987 National Title Game between Miami and Penn State and again in 1989 between Notre Dame and WVU. Louisville-Alabama was 1991 and a established NYD Bowl...Nice try
That is correct...the MLK Holiday Boycott..just pointing out it was by that time considered a major bowlDidn't UL get the invite due to other teams rejecting the Bowl due to a boycott?
Yes, becuse Arizona refused to recognize MLK Day, most teams boycotted the game, except those ever so racially-aware schools of UofL and Alabama...Didn't UL get the invite due to other teams rejecting the Bowl due to a boycott?

^This. Probably saw the writing on the wall. It was going to be hard for him to find PT for a while. Most likely the kid didn't want to wait his turn. We're probably better off without him if that's his attitude.No...more than likely he is headed to Nebraska...Michigan isn't really recruiting him.

OK , the 1991 Fiesta was a huge game in the long history of college football. Everyone was talking about it on the national stage. They show it on ESPN Classics all the time.
UL kept their national title hopes alive and Alabama's 7-5 team fell just short.
No I posted what you quoted less than an hour ago...plus this is the Rivals Network and fans from other schools can post here and anywhere else...and I post on the Louisville site as well...and I will enjoy..
Yes. That is correct. Several teams turned it down. Can't blame ul for taking it. It was good for them.
Louisville at that time was basically 7 years removed from almost dropping down to DIAA status-(current FCS)...They took advantage of the opportunity to play on National TV against a traditional power on NYD...2 years later that corp of that Bama team won the National Title.
OH GOOD...glad you jumped in we all know you are tight with the UL Athletic department with major sources.^This. Probably saw the writing on the wall. Nobody cares about a bowl game U of L went to 25 years ago because nobody else wanted to go to it. LOL! Go reminicse about it on your God-foresaken chiken board. Nobody here cares, 95% don't even remember.
We really don't care about any of this...and that just is what it is.This whole section of this thread came about because you could not remember or did know which NYD Bowl Louisville beat Florida in...just pointing out/correcting you on the 3 NYD Bowls Louisville has won the past 25 years...which is more than most of the current 128 FBS Schools...many havent won 1 or even played in 1 during that time span..it is what it is
