Did he really say that? How the hell does he still have a job? What a damn pretentious moron.

He probably meant to say Baton Rouge anyway.

He was going on and on yesterday about the Health Care summit, and he was spitting all over himself.

but the show in general... no way. Tell me, other than apparently daily bashing of MSU, do you get anything of value from that show? Maybe the few times i've seen it was just bad news days.

Don't get me wrong. We've all received our share of "cow college" digs from family and friends-comes with the territory. Heck, I've found some humor in some of it to be honest. Having to hear itmore than once on a non-sports program andanational broadcast just doesn't feel right for some reason. No lost sleep here though. I'm probably in the minority but talking smack especially in public always seems to circle back (see burial ground under Scott Field). If the situationwere reversed NO I wouldn't want one of ours to be saying that crap. Take care of business on the field/court and get ready for the next one. Good advice on not watching that segment. That would be a good timeforall of us to chase the livestock off the lawn and getClovis out of the fridge on the front porch. </p>

During one of his monologues Johnny said he had just found out that he and Tammy Faye had something in common. Paraphrasing he said, "It turns out that the guy who does her makeup painted my house."

......constantly bashing a school that isn't even his rival. I mean where are all of the LSU jokes?

....if you really have a problem with "taking shots," then what do you think of Mullen? For the record, I have no problem with anything Mullen says or does. I also think he's doing a good job. I'm just surprised you typed that without considering what that means you must think of Mullen's talk.

But for youto try to make the stretch that Mullen's post game digs when talking to local media are anything like a national news personality using his pulpit to dig is just rationalizing. I mean how much of his audiencereally knows what he means by that anyway? Unless of course he thinksthe majority of his audience is in the TV room of the Phi Delta house inoxford.

I dont mind Shep doing it at all. If reb fans are entertained by it, that's great. If state fans are ignorant enough to be insulted and not consider that he's just a fan, they deserve what they get.

What I might be pissed about would be if I were a fan of Fox and Shep's crap was discrediting it.

I'm not a fan of fox, and Shep fits right in with them for me.

as watching MSNBC bothers Republicans. For the record, Shep is by all accounts a complete douchebag.

I don't care for those comments at all. His intent is obvious and he has created excitement butthat stuff can still come back to bite. Call it old school but there are many coaches that get it done on the field and respect the opponent in public (even if they don't). I still back coach all the way though.I'm probably in the minority on talking smack but that doesn't mean I don't support the program with my money and attendance. Again, unwinding after a long week, watching a non-sports program, national news and hearing Shep talk about S'ville and cows just didn't sit well. If I'm watching the OM playbacks or a game sure one could expect that-happens all the time.

That pisses me off. I've never really disliked the guy on TV, personally I've met him a few times and he's kind of a prick. He has still given one of the best graduation speeches I've ever seen in the Grove though. Made me having to go to OM graduation worth it

I have watched it a couple times as well, and the couple of shows I saw were useless. Someone must watch him though because he has two shows, doesn't he (I don't know for sure)?

Fox News a polite message saying if he had to promote umiss (yes that's what I wrote) ok, but taking shots at MSU was not. Maybe if everyone would contact them it would help.

We were at a mutual friend's wedding, so we went out both nights. We had good time, and his girlfriend (yes, he had a girlfriend) was hot.

By the way, I'm pretty sure he enjoys a good, ahem, lefty every now and then.

I don't mind when Shep props Ole Miss, but I'd rather him leave MSU out of it. I'm not a huge fan of talking garbage in public either.
