Academics is an important part of realignment And sports conferences. It has kept WVU at times from associating with schools they wanted to. That’s why it’s relevant on a sports message board. Even the Brown clowns here recognize this as they deflect and spin and change with the wind as they attempt to spin that aspect away. Supporting WVU athletics doesn’t mean blindly following a coach who has the worst record in nearly 50 years of any coach at WVU. Furthermore, every coach in the country gets a certain number of players from the previous staff and brings in their own. Brown chased off over twenty players from a top 16 team, several starters On offense and defense and it was well documented at the time and he has continued to bleed players at an extreme level nationally, while once again the Brown clowns do nothing but make excuses and pretend supporting the current football disaster is the same as supporting WVU. Actual fans wants success for the teams and have seen that Brown cannot deliver that. It’s a shame that ineptitude across those administering the program has led to a situation where they are trying to stuff this debacle down people’s throats when we see examples all over the country - such as at TCU, where coaching and other changes have rapidly propelled other schools to another level, while WVU tries to sell less than mediocrity is better than what WVU had before or must get to again if the program is to continue and not just be a money drain. Neal Brown hasn’t earned anything and WVU maybe the only school that would still be retaining him for ? and demanding nothing in return for a lifetime of financial security while he drags the program into the dregs. Some trolls get their kicks off trying to attack the messenger, but the message isn’t getting through so it cant be repeated enough. Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is ignorant. But if you want to sink WVU athletics- primarily football it’s perfect.
